This looks really good! I'm surprised it works on NES, it seems like there's so much going on

Thanks. Doing our best to show off a new side to the NES. :)

1 more question I wanted to ask. I seen someone playing this, and there was confusion with how to play it with the rhythm. Can you shoot enemies whenever you want to, or do you have to do it in rhythm to the beat?

There is no punishment or "correct" rhythm. We wanted to allow for player experimentation and personal choice. The game allows the player to "shoot" at a rhythm that sounds best to them. It's open-ended rhythm in that way. Once you find a rhythm that sounds good, it's almost impossible not to be constantly shooting (making music), even when there are no enemies in your sights. :)

does this work with the zapper?

Gamepad only. We recommend checking out the upcoming Gunhawk by Skyboy Games for a brand new Zapper game!

@@orebodyinc thanks for the recommendation. I actually found a unique way to play this new game you're making. I ordered a snes to nes controller adapter, so I could use the snes mouse.

@@kennyryan4173 We're happy to report that Zapper support has been added. It's meant more as a 2-player option, since the first player still uses the controller. :)
