This is a track of the year contender for me. The chorus is immense, the the riffs are brutal, and the melodic aspect gives it a bit of that epic.

MY TAKE: Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP. I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day. Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and tear through the universe and yet heart warming. Brilliant! The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect! Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight! The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and triplets are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here! LOVE IT! The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clearly shows in each track. UNREAL! Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres. I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure LIFE for many a listener. #1

It feels like Flight of the Fireflies 2.0. Very good song and also quite a change of pace for a change. Extremely excited for the Album and only a little more than a month to go!!.

hmm I don't hear the Fireflies at all. I hear some Day of the Cloud (drums) and some See Through Me/The Newborn One (atmosphere)

It’s a ballad, it’s “slower” in a sense but still carries a lot of power. And I believe it’s a horn sound in reference to your bagpipe comment. These guys are IT.

Aaaactully,(🤣) their latest single Voltaire of North is gonna be on Descent as well but hey it’s mean a really long time so it feels like it that one was a standalone single.

@@SH-zg8zs Love that auto correct. I have to leave that in there. I’ll call that song that from now on. Maybe that what Niklas was referring to. Voltaire was the vulture

The track Vultures of the North is also off the new album. So technically the second single 🙂 One of my favorite parts of the track was that post-rock style opening, very different for heavy music. And though fairly repetitive, OC changed the instrumentation behind the vocal performance often enough to make it feel less monotonous.
