Orbit Culture is what happens when you combine equal parts Gojira and Metallica, with a little Humanity's Last Breath thrown in for good measure. Love these guys. Their front man Nik produces all their stuff. That massive mix you hear? It's all him.

Great choice Jim...I can't find a bad song in their entire library. Also, your mug is faaaar from ugly. 😂The singer Nicholas Karlsson is a big fan of James Hetfield of Metallica hence the similarity in voice sound. This is a rabbit hole you will enjoy since you also seem to enjoy your heavy metal.

Everyone is saying Gojira and Metallica vibes with HLB thrown in, but one other band I hear is Insomnium, especially in the way their choruses are so open and melodic and how it plays off the heavier riffs

You mentioned the singer sounds like James Hetfield, I had the same thought when I first heard them on the song "Mute the Silent". Also, they have done a cover of Metallica's "Hardwired", which is amazing.

Hi Jim, Who or what are Orbit Culture😅? You describe sounds that I’m sure I will hate but I give it a try 🫨 The start is excellent, love it. And then the growling starts 😵‍💫. I really love the music and they can sing, so why the bloody growling. I fear that every song contains it. I won’t buy the record because of it.

This is how they sounds, and the screaming, growling and thyni tiny litle clean vocals is amazing, all of it. Try their song Carvings wich has less growling.

@@palantir135 Were is your limt? During the last year ive been more and more ok with the growling. ArchEnemy, Dark Tranquility, In Flames are bands that i have started listening to. Bands like Jinjer and Gojira do I still have problems to listen to.
