I recently went to one of their concerts, while they were touring with other bands. They were the first ones to get onstage, and opened with this song. And I had been a while since I attended any kind of concert, so I know I won't ever forget that first riff, just one guitar, then two seconds of pure silence, and then *boom* . The other guitar comes in, along with the bass and the drums. My friend and I were caught so off guard. Pure head banging for half an hour. Wish it had been longer

What I love about this particular song is that it really isn't that hard to play. Anyone can do that. It's the piecing together of the song that makes it flow so well. That takes talent. It comes at you full force....then the breather of the mid-section....the slow build back up....and then finish out with the all the parts and the synth effects supporting the song. Orbit Culture just takes song structuring to a new level. They're heavy, but don't wear down the listener.

I remember listening to the Orbit Culture's first releases and I couldn't understand whether I like this band or not. There's something I couldn't wrap my heard around. Time passed and I realised that the energy of the music is undeniable and this is exactly what makes me (and probably all other people) to come back. The song structures and riffs seem to be simple at the first glance; however, the more you listen the more you understand it's not true. Beside that each riff makes you headbang like never before, there are some arrangement tricks here and there that make songs spicier and tastier! Orbit Culture deserves way more attention and appreciation, and I wish the band only the best in their endeavours! Hope to catchy you on tour one day! Keep it brutal!!!
@BIOSHOCKFOXX2 жыл бұрын
In early days OC wasn't at this level, vocalist has evolved or changed the way he does vocals, because at first it was as if James Hetfield made a new band or something :D It was basically Metallica if it was faster and lower, or just heavier in general. Now OC has evolved and found their shtick, vocals are great and unique, riffing is mind blowing, double bass drumming 👌that is going on almost for non-stop through the songs... And as you said, energetic, because they just go on like a grinder without stop. If there is a stop, it's to take a breather, give those palms and legs a rest for a bit, and then keep on grinding till the end. And the best part is that it's not some chainsaw riffing, like some Black Metal and Death Metal. This is actually very enjoyable. Even in moshpit parts you can still enjoy instead of having this chainsaw blast-beating and shredding guitar to which you can only moshpit, since a lot of bands that involve a moshpit portion in the songs, you can't really headbang to those, to me those are calm parts I can't do anything but to wait till it ends and starts the headbanging moments. Another thing is the intensity, it is in constant intensity in this song, one factor is because of the background whining, high pitched sound, screeching, that goes on as the blasting and riffing is happening.
@garretlalemand69942 жыл бұрын
That riff is so simple but POWERFUL and so full of weight! Especially with the breaks in the beginning. This band is gonna get so popular by the time Descent comes out and continue to grow!
