RE: Korrect1. How to derive delayed, autobahn, and boomerang scratches from the 2 click orbit. It's kinda long-winded, so I beg you to be patient with my method of explanation. I might re-do this, maybe...

Hey Yoshi! This is awesome! I've been working on some lessons and come to similar conclusions so to see someone else explain is great. I've seen about 3 different versions of what a "delayed" flare is, so great to be on the same page as someone else. I sometimes called them phase shifted or offset flares. Thanks for posting! - Emma Short-E

I've noticed a lot off scratch djs in learning are doing it because they don't enjoy but because it's like a computer game they got to complete . I don't know if anyone understands that . It's becoming that a lot off djs sound exactly the same. . With there patterns and style.

I feel you on this video, I think of the patterns in phases when shifted and also like rolling through all the pattern types (orbit - delayed - autobanh - boomerang) while consecutively 1, 2 or 3 clicking respectivley.

Thank you for explaining the delay this way

You lost me at about 2 mins. It's difficult when your adding mistakes and explaining not what to do instead of just what to do.

hey man i love your videos, real good and helping me a lot. just a thought though, where you say you were wrong about calling certain things delayed and now you think they should not be called this, are they not all delayed flare techniques in a sense as the open part of the fader flare comes before the 2 clicks? what i mean is that while the record hand is not delayed for the boomerang/autobahn, the fader hand is, as you start closed, open for 2 and click for 1 and end closed to make 3s.
