junk, waste of of money and just adds to the landfill. You could compare them yourself and notice a difference in quality. It's not as robust. It's harder to extract the internal assembly with the wrench tool they expect you to use made by rain bird. There is no gasket on the sleeve nut just plastic and an o ring on the riser stem, like on the Orbit Superjet, no longer in production. Trip collars move more freely than rain bird in turn can be problematic. drain ports are too large just inviting roots into the canisiter. Replacement nozzles are harder to obtain, rain bird nozzles are very hard to insert. In low pressure situations, even with the red nozzle made by rain bird and the tension on the arm adjusted, this head struggles while the rain bird persist kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIHMhJWAbtl7g5Y This head is a step up compared to the Superjet however I have more appreciation for the Superjet being a different sprinkler. But we can't ingnore there's no innovation and pride over at Orbit. They just clone everything on the market as cheaply as possible and prey on people who don't know any better. They've been doing it for years and get away with it.

@@devinc.brewer4437 wow, well now I feel like an idoit because I just bought two or the pulse XL, but that being said I actually like them, I mean of course the quality is not as good but they work well for only being 12 dollars and all the parts are compatible with rain bird. But I agree with you on the super jet I've always like that sprinkler and I'm gonna get some more on ebay just because they are so good :)

@@spiritofhalloween9537 Well if all fails the internals can be swapped out with a rain bird 2045a maxi paw as for the AG-5 maxi paw. I recommend The 2045a maxi paw. it's targeted towards light commercial and is more reliable whereas the Ag-5 sold in big box stores, like all the sprinklers they sell are targeted towards homeowners and just not all that great, but by all means take the ag-5 over the Pulse XL, you'll get more out of it, especially if you take care of it.

@@spiritofhalloween9537 just for kicks I'd like to install some superjets on my own system one day, perhaps as full circles with the orphis enlarged for more gallonage. The most common thing that fails on those are the trip springs, you can do without it on a full circle.
