Captain N was a crazy interpretation of classic NES games. Season 2 also had GameBoy as a character to market the Nintendo handheld system. Today's episode of Captain N was based on Ancient Greek history of the Olympics, with Mother Brain using the event as an excuse to find the 3 sacred treasures. Hopefully next week will include the second part to this episode. Also having Princess Lana in her Diving Swimsuit was a nice fan service moment.

I remembers Biker Mice from Mars when i first watched as a kid back in 1994. I know they also did the second reboot but I still prefer their original characters designs but I still wished this whole Series has finally released onto the complete DVD collection at last. I'm hoping that Discotek Media since they have released past cartoon/anime series onto SDBD Blu-ray just like Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Sharks and now Extreme Dinosaurs.

About that "Joe" episode - here are the words from GI Joe Wiki: "This particular episode is a strange mixture of first and second season concepts, that does not easily fit into the overall continuity. This was due to the writer, Tom Dagenais, being seriously ill at the time he was writing the episode, and not being able to finish it in time for the first season. Dagenais finished the episode before he passed away, and it was ready in time for the second season, but had to receive some minor changes to incorporate the new characters who had been introduced in the second season". That is why Cobra Commander is the leader and not Serpentor, there is an emphasis on such characters as Destro, Baroness, Lady Jaye or Flint, and there are Rattlers and not Night Ravens (but you still have season 2 characters like BAT-s, Lifeline, general Hawk, dr. Mindbender, Leatherneck and Wet-Suit etc). I have fond memories of the episode, remember it from pirated VHS tape. I think it is fun stand-alone GI Joe story (RIP Tom Dagenais, thanks for memories). Also I love Lady Jaye (had a crush on her as a kid). ;)
