I discovered Unnamed Space Idle thanks to that video in March. I also now have 900+ hours into in in less than a year. Might actually rank USI above NGU Idle as best idle game.

Love the recaps! I do enjoy seeing your longer-format (an hour or so) "let's try" games with a quick summary of the game at the beginning, but jumping in fairly fast to say "here's what the game looks like"

Thanks! Glad you enjoy em

Unnamed space idle is by far the best idle game ever. Never thought that this would be a big journey with a lot of new systems and stuff and decisions to make. And you feel, you get more powerfull. No mindless 9999 prestiges. Other games like Journey to incrementalia or widget inc really need prestige system with meaningful things. really good short games. Digseum was also fun. Another highlight of the year is : Click Mage ( but no idle , clicker game ) . 5 hours short but unique in its own way. I wanted more from it like the other games. Love your lists and vids. in the last years i got a lot good games because of your vids ;). ty alot .greetings

Just coming back to say that Unnamed Space Idle IS indeed the best idle game I have ever played. Great Pacing of new mechanics, that feel fresh yet interconnected with the rest.

Just found your videos a couple of days ago and really enjoying your 2024 recaps! Never even looked at games like this before so definitely going to check them out! Did find Planet Crafter from one of your videos. Definitely hit the sub button! Appreciate the work.

I enjoyed each of the recap videos which led to several new games for me. It would be nice to see a list of the best value big strategy (or strategy adjacent) games (ones with lots of DLC). Which are worth the money and which DLC are worth it? Which are done and no more DLC is planned (which means they might be priced right finally).

Gnorp got me back into incremental games this year. Factory town was way better than I was hoping for. Deep Space Cache was a good time, as was Journey to Incrementalia. I still need to play Sixty Four.

Thanks for all recaps, I will leave a comment on the final "top 10" video: What is missing in the game industry, even though it launches thousands of titles annually? Especially indie games, you might create a video that explores not the perfect game, but what should become standardized and what seems unnecessary following groundbreaking titles like Vampire Survivors, which effectively launched a new wave of the roguelite survivor genre, among others. Or just what you would like to see in 2025, after playing so much games :D

An interesting perspective! I’ll give it some thought, thanks fort he suggestion :)

I don't know if this style of game appeals to you but I would love to see your take on "Vampire Survivor" style rougelikes. I find them to be quite strategic in terms of permanent upgrades and (if you get a good build) almost idle games at the end of a run. Halls of Torment and Boneraiser Minions are lesser known examples that are two of my favorites

i quite like VS personally, I don’t think it’s a great fit for the channel unfortunately so I don’t think you’ll see it here. However what I would say is check out this video which is a very similar concept only with a factory building component : kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpiWZ6eVqduYhdU

I've been playing an idle game for a really long time now, but it's a mobile game, don't know if it interest you ? The name of the game is "Idle Obelisk Miner", it's a really great game (with no ads with is amayzing for a free mobile game)

adFundum and SuperMiningMechs are (better?) clones of the source game "Motherload /2". and that was already back in days a rly nice flashgame.

There is a demo on itch of a game called Dawn of defense that is a combination of Tower defence RTS and some rogue like elements

I hated Sixty Four, the game can only be won with info you found in the wiki (with layouts even). No info whatsoever to do it by yourself with clues in the game. In every step of the progression, you are forced to redo everything, because is more a puzzle game than a factory one. The game need manual input even in the end game, so no. I beat it, and i never gonna come back again.
@xarcaz11 күн бұрын
Lol, the video includes Sixty Four. Absolute trash
