Forgot to say this but [command.] (command or ctrl plus a period) will loop through your midi devices available in orca so you can select them that way

Yes pilot has a few waveforms for the internal synth that you can change in the script in pilor directly. see here in tettings section : github.com/hundredrabbits/Pilot#settings

I don't get it... ! is a CC how are you triggering that granular with that? so confusing...

Cassetter is being triggered with midi cc over the IAC Driver bus which is macs internal midi routing. ! Is the operator for sending midi cc to cassetter !00o triggers the first sound in cassetter once on a bang. Pilot is being triggered over UDP, the operator for that is ;

Make sure the midi device for both orca and cassetter are set to IAC Driver
