If you go to Argentina, try to visit Peninsula de Valdez. It is far from Buenos Aires but it is worth it. The peninsula is shaped like a hummer so you can see the sunset on the sea, party all night and then drive just a few miles and see the sunrise also on the sea in the morning. The whole peninsula is a nature reservation so you can see an incredible variety of species. Besides the rich sea fauna, it also has a rich desert type fauna on land including ñandús (South American ostrich).
