Christmas started in early November in Singapore this year. I just returned from Manila. Their Christmas celebrations started in October! Christmas in the tropics, comes with foamy fake snow. It's fun here. Hope you will have a warm Christmas.

The whole town is decorated with Christmas decorations, people are enjoying various attractions, and children are screaming with joy. The video camera walks slowly through the town decorated with illuminations, feeling its pulse and capturing the city's expressions.🎄✨🎁 There were many pop-up shops,Santa Claus gifts, various events, and illuminated decorations, and you took polite videos of each one from up close…. We enjoyed a virtual experience of the Christmas lights on Main Street! Yosh and Iku

Walking down Orchard Road has a special feel as Christmas music is played along the stretch. The malls and shops are well decorated and are attracting customers to walk in to buy their products. The street light-up is absolutely wonderful this year and pop up stalls are having good sales. Yosh and Iku, sorry for this late reply as I returned from Manila past midnight, early this morning. I have more than a hundred comments to reply, and I am happily replying to each one of them. I have interesting videos of local life in Manila which I will share soon. There are also many Singapore events that I missed while I was away. I'll have to catch up on these.

Singapore's Christmas Light Up gets better with each passing year. There's a countdown party where the road will be closed on Christmas eve. As an expat you must have frequented Tanglin Mall. They have 'Avalanche and Snowfall' every year, except the covid years. The deco for the past years is nothing compared to 20+ years ago..during that time ..every single mall along orchard road compete with each other to display massive n gigantic Christmas deco at their entrance

If I remember well, CentrePoint has the biggest Christmas decorations along Orchard Road in the 1980s. Everybody would go to watch this every Christmas.
