I’m currently playing Orcust with…Diabellstar, Magician’s Soul and Red-Eyes, the same engine used for DLink. Yeah, alongside Gamma. All to justify running DM and Red-Eyes in my deck for Dragoon and not call them “bricks”. Honestly, it’s working too well. I’m pleasantly surprised.

i lobe orcusts so much personally i use souls engine +apprentice illusion magician over the illusion cards. it’s definitely not the strongest version but it’s pretty consistent and still super fun

i play SE orcust with small orcust package and terrortop(just in case i need extra 2 bodies) do u know girsu can be a tuner? so u don't actually need dragoon to cramp ur deck,make savage instead. just play rabbit for less garnet

If you’re playing a Horus variant then absolutely. You can run 3 Mali which are great pitches off sarc, Imsety, and mermaid. You can only proc him once, and then keep the 3rd in deck. Not to mention that opening Fusion Destiny doesn’t cut you off from DPE like opening Red-Eyes Fusion does. So the only real brick in the package is your low level Destiny hero.

If Appaloosa wasn't banned phantom night or cuss would have anywhere between 5 to 7 monster negations and to interruptions on field one being a pop and the other being a non-target non destruction send and it would all be done with multiple one card combos which half of the deck can search. And in this version the only bricks that you would run is if you're playing the dragoon engine and that is it.

I still prefere Horus/Adventure (or both) jist cause, honestly, protecting your plays is just huge. Also, bouncing floodgates with adventure engine is 10/10.
