Order of Ecclesia But I Can ONLY Use Low-Tier Glyphs

One of the things I really like about Order of Ecclesia is that it brought back a sense of atmosphere that was lacking from the preceding two games. The non-castle section especially, when it isn't just a straight line with enemies, really gives a sense of isolation in a hostile natural environment. The soundtrack also contributes massively in this regard, as it's a lot more low-key, similar to Aria of Sorrow.

Yeah in Castlevania in general Dark Element attacks are only really effect for being effective against the one or two human bosses each game. Richter, Julius or Albus comes to mind.

There is another way for knife glyphs to be "useful". How about a "use whatever you find" run, where you have to switch to whatever runs you come across. So you might get a high tier glyph, but then you have to give it up for a knife. This would be an "old school" run, back when you dropped your power up whenever you got a new one.

I think shield dash easily beats magnes. Magnes will stop momentum if used during a backdash, shields dont. And I think shields use less MP. Plus shield union lets you ignore enemies. Its really fun with moonwalkers
