I have played Conan Exiles since May of last year and now have 2,225 hours logged. I am playing on a private server that has just started the "Age of Calamitous" into the mods we run and I would like to see a video breaking down the beginners perspective entering the "Age of Calamitous" from the lands of the exiles. Just letting you know that I chose the Elvanor Faction right out of the gate for myself but I would like to see a video slowly working step by step through the grind in the Elvanor Faction showing the various aspects of this faction more clearly to advance in the faction. I also am admin on the private server I play and I personally need to learn but I have problems reading with my vision problems too. Thank you for this video and I would like to see much more as indicated above. Thanks!

Super stoked to see the additions to AoC. What I'd LOVE to see from AoC is guards, pets, etc that actually function, rather than just being static decorations. The giant dragon is a GREAT first step, but, maybe you can pass it along to the devs that we'd really like to see functioning guards, etc.

Ya that would be cool. Pets i believe is the first step. All 6 factions now have pets. They were added to the other factions also. Each factions pet is unique. As far as guards, i know thats been brought up, and im sure they are thinking about it. I think it may be hard only cause its technically the same as a combat thrall, but instead of knockout and make on wheel of pain, you would craft. That may unbalance game. If there is a way, i know the AoC team will figure it out though. :D

New to the Magic stuff. Selected Elvanor faction and was issued the reapers and the staff. Reapers work fine, but if I try to use the staff, it say 'no ammo'. Can't find anything on how to abtain/craft ammo.

18:33 thousand durability, there's no timer on it, so this is a ...just like the other factions, there's no time on... um ...how long it takes, the fi ... IT LASTS FOREVER ^-^ :P

Ya that would be cool. There is a way to learn more factions, but a server admin would have to set that up.

Love these VERY helpful videos! What mod are you using to get that many Attribute points to have everything maxxed at 50 except Vitality? Also, can you level the Faction Pets and boost stat gain chance with certain foods like I do on my human thralls/animal pets? Would love to increase STR and VIT on the faction dragon pet and max it to lvl 20. P.S. For Spiritual Agony +17 dmg enchantment, can you add a Master dmg mod kit to the weapon for added dmg and armor penetration then add Spiritual Agony for an extra +17? If you add the Spiritual Agony +17 dmg to weapon and then give weapon to thrall to use, does it still have timer and run out even tho thrall equipped weapons never lose durability? Would be kinda OP if the timer never ran out when thrall was using them.

Yes. In the description on the video is a link for the Official AoC Discord. The mod creator not only has lore channels, but has written a book that sets up for the return of Elvanor with more lore and books coming.

You can easily get them from thralls using the LVL 50 Elvanor magic item, soul siphoning. Or you can get Ecto in normal drops from - Humans (Elvanor only) - Zynarus - Scourge Undead - Scourge Rabbit - Scourge Wraith - Scourge Reaper

Putting that +17 damage on the book could be good.

From what I've tested, the +17 dmg is not permanent and damages the item pretty badly. Put it on a Legendary axe and dropped it's durability to about 25%. I did not time how long it lasted tho.

Hey Ragna, any idea how to produce marble slabs? I can see how to make bricks, but I need slabs to produce archways and columns etc.

That is the Gcam mod if i remember right. I dont use that mod for the most part, so i am not sure how to get slabs for it.

Thank you for the video explaining the new faction. Recently, I was able to use the 5 factions before the update with 50 pippi gold coins on a server run by a close friend. However, there is an update immediately after that, and the faction of this commentary video has been added, and I am very surprised and sad. How can I get all the factions on my own? I found an item called gold token in the administrator mode in single play,but is it related to that?

There is a potion that you can spam from admin panel. It will get you access to items from all factions.

Two ways. The Grandmaster Potion (admin spawn only) will teach all factions. OR there faction tokens (admin spawn only) that will teach specific faction, and you can use 1 of each. Some admins make quests or requirements for each token as a reward.

@@facesunny576 I know this is late, however, the Arcane Essence is not a drop. It is crafted in the magic specific bench for your faction. (Applies only to the three factions that give magic.)

I tried to use that staff but every time I try to attack with it it says no ammo and no I haven't learned any of the magic but what do I need to do at a moderate level say level 30 or 40 to be able to use this staff and avoid getting the no ammo message?

this might be a stupid question but im in this faction and to make the building pieces i want for the stone walls it says i need hardened marble brick. i know how to make marble but how do i make it hardened brick?

Use Enchanting table to make marble, use master furnace to make into marble brick and hardened.

Just tested it out. But mostly of the weapons doesnt do those things you show. Maybe to much updates so far. I only have a Staff throw which does no dmg and you just have a red "explosion" or some sort of red Mist attack on all when you equip sword + staff or tome.

There are massive problems with a few other MODS and the new AoC patch in regards to magic. My suggestion to test. Try a new Single Player game with ONLY AoC mod enabled. Admin the stuff in and test. I know there is one popular magic mod that people use, that messes up AoC stuff since the most recent patch. Videos in Single Player, but i stream multiplayer server and magic works the same.

Some of the tutorial videos are good for reference in the future, but i agree, once you know it, its done. I do plan to get back to some playthrough episode videos again. Those suffer same issue. Glad you enjoy the videos. Thank you.

its really up to you. the new magic change does make accuracy builds bow and magic more viable, but probably still go heavy armor and strength vitality until you get high enough level

There were a couple of glitches that should be patched out by now. There are a few mods such as ELI that will create issues with magic in AoC.

I admin spawned coin for video. I have played all factions and they are all different types of fun. try them all. No one faction is really better than other if you take entire 0-120 leveling into account. I love them all. Cold embrace, Elven, Vanghoul are MY 3 favorites. Thats just preference.

Yes. Cold Embraces was first. One faction each 2 months. So next faction should be by end of april if all goes well, or during if it goes really well. The AoC creator has a lot to do, but he is hard at work.

noooooo why are the magic spells consumable..... that makes it significantly less fun. And only 50 stacks? Also 6 minutes of use still sucks and the fact that it basically breaks the weapon makes it more than useless for 99.99% of situations. You can't afford to carry 4 weapons and 4 weapon oils which is what you would need to do to use it regularly.

Not all magic is consumable. There are weapons that have magical attacks that are based off your stamina. The orbs are meant to supplement other magic or normal attack, not replace. I agree with the oils, needs a little tweaking on funcoms end. They changed to the oils which made the mod dev change also.

This game has been moddet to much..it sucks..i miss the plain old conan game but there is no EU servers with these mode..only moddet shit and you insta lvl up..boring
