I actually have a retail boxed PS2 mouse, probably still mint condition as I don't remember ever using it before it went in the attic with all my other old consoles/games/peripherals. I remember buying it though, was a pound or something in a Gamestation (now gone, bought out by Game I believe) roundabout when the PS3 came out and they were selling off all their PS2 stuff for dirt cheap. I've got loads of Dreamcast stuff bought under the same circumstances, arcade pads, guns, rods etc - shops couldn't give them away at one point. It's yours if you want it Ryan, I won't sell it to you but I'll swap it for a PS4 game or something if you have any dupes you don't need. I have a box filled with old PS1/PS3/360/Dreamcast mags too if you want a few of them - may as well throw a few in if I'll be sending a parcel overseas, UK ones so might have games in them you didn't get over there.

I love these unscripted videos. Show's your passion and genuine knowledge for collecting video games. It has inspired me to also start collecting for platforms I never thought I would ever collect for. Example being the PSP. I recently purchased a 3000 model, a blue model similar to my PSvita aqua blue model. And a couple of games like Monster Hunter, Ratchet & Clank, Patapon 1 & 3 and a couple other titles. At the time of PSP's release I was really young and only ever received games a couple times a year. Now with my own income, I'm able to buy games and consoles I never had. There's a lot to take into consideration before buying, most obviously price being one of them; condition, but what also really important for me is ties to franchises and the history of the game or console.

You've beaten me at least - don't think I have any rares in my PS4 collection, gave up collecting for the sake of it years ago. I've got Deadpool, that's supposed to be fairly rare. Moss VR too, that always seems stupidly priced preowned so might be rarish. Shenmue 3 as well, probably loads of copies out there, just nobody bought them 😂 so not so much rare, but not many people will have it cos it bombed. Just poor buggers who own shops that ordered 50 copies and only managed to sell 1.
@triledink3 жыл бұрын
@@davehedgehogUK Deadpool and Moss for ps4 are rarities. You're lucky. I was expecting Shenmue 3 on ps4 to become rare its sad that it did not go as well, but everything mostly goes up with time. You never know if that game triple in price in a few years, you kinda have to be optimistic and hope for the best.
@davehedgehogUK3 жыл бұрын
@@triledink the backers version might (that's the one I have) - like you say though, you never really know what will be valuable one day, some games you know will be collectibles from the off due to limited runs or just being niche games, but didn't a factory sealed Mario game recently sell for like a million or so? I doubt anyone back then thought a Mario game would ever become so valuable, if you ever owned a Ninty console, you'd have had all the Mario games. I know my Dreamcast and Saturn collection is worth a fortune, I've never really looked into all the games individually but I know Panzer Dragoon is worth a pretty penny, and I've got 3 copies of it. Keeping it all for my kids, it'll be a nice lump sum when I've snuffed it 😂 I have every PAL Dreamcast game ever released so I'm sure at least 10 of them are pretty pricey now. They're still releasing Dreamcast games now too, I'd bet all of them will be real treasures in a few decades as I doubt many people even know they exist. There's a French company releasing Megadrive games like Another World, on the Dreamcast in a proper DC box, with manuals. They'll be sought after one day I'm sure and a good investment for collectors to get now.
@triledink3 жыл бұрын
@@davehedgehogUK Wow, you're pretty much sitting on more money than me with those dreamcast games. While no one can see if any of them gets a big price increase with the exceptions of the games getting revived and getting sequels in the future though. I have a few games that have spiked in price that have just been laying in the closet for years. Two games I was surprised by was my old copy of Pokemon crystal and silver for gameboy and Zelda oracle of seasons (Complete in box) that my brother bought and gave to me years ago.
