How To Make DISNEYLAND CHURROS at Home!

We made Disneyland Churros at home! The Disney Parks blog came out with the official recipe for Disneyland Churro Bites and I dunno about you guys, but we have been craving Disneyland Churros and we could not wait to attempt to make them! Was this an epic fail or was this finally a win for Kitra's Quarantine Kitchen??! Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup water
8 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable or canola oil
1/2 cup sugar
Instructions:
Combine water, butter, salt, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in 1.5-quart saucepan over medium heat. Bring pot to rolling boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Add flour and stir vigorously until mix forms a ball. Remove from heat and let rest for 5-7 min.
Add eggs, one at a time, and stir until combined. Set aside.
Using caution, heat oil in medium skillet or 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat or until temperature reaches 350 degrees.
Spoon dough into piping bag fitted with large star tip. Pipe 1-inch strip of dough over saucepan, cut with knife, and drop into hot oil. Repeat until churro bites fill saucepan with room to fry.
Fry churro bites until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon or mesh spider strainer.
Drain churro bites on paper towel.
Mix sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in medium bowl. Toss in churro bites until coated.

Good Job on the pate Choux paste (technical name for the dough) fun fact this paste can also be used to make cream puffs or eclairs. leave out the cinnamon when making the dough and pipe the dough on a parchment lined sheet pan bake at 425degree for around 25 to 35 min the out side will be hard the inside hollow and you can fill with a cream filling or custard filling then dip in melted chocolate or top with powdered sugar

I added sugar to the dough and added more cinnamon to the outside mixture and it was awesome. Tried without the star tip and it was horrible. Definitely needs the star tip on the piping bag. As good or better than the parks! I was so surprised!

Loved the churros! I have the recipe copied on my page and friends are making them too. The "Kitra's Quarantine Kitchen" logo looks great. Should put it on aprons, shirts and oven mitts. One idea on the piping bag. You can also use a spritz cookie press or gun, lay the dough out on a cookie sheet, cut off pieces then fry them.

The Sour Sarlacc is easy to make. Any limeade, concentrate from a can works. Then Monin French Raspberry and Monin Spicy Mango syrups that you can pick up on Amazon. Moof Juice is easy also. I've never found the orange fruit punch with pineapple, but pineapple fruit punch mixed about 3:1 with orange juice is the same. Then Monin Chipotle Pineapple syrup from Amazon. I also use Monin Raspberry to make Green Apple Spell Lemonade that the Smokejumper had over Halloween. Any lemonade, cherry boba pearls (again, Amazon), Monin Granny Smith syrup, and then a dash of the raspberry syrup on top so that it slowly drips through the ice cubes. The boba pearls add nothing to the flavor and can be left out. All of the juices and syrup ingredients have been very easy to obtain. The boba pearls I found came in a huge bucket so I've not needed to reorder that recently but it looks like they are available.

If you want riggess, tape cellopone on the bag tip and then cut the mark. Layer a few celo tape over the tip area. Hope this helps
