For anyone interested in getting a Sip and Savor pass, it can save you a little money. The price per tab is $7.38 for regular guests and $6.75 for Key Holders. If you use the tabs for just items over that price point (most of the entrées) and just pay for stuff under that (drinks and desserts) you can save a bit. Although there is something to be said about the convenience of just using the tabs. Also, the passes are for sale in stores around DCA and that will save you a bunch of time when buying it. And remember DO NOT tear the tab off the pass until you are ordering/paying for your food. They will not accept them if the tabs are already detached. And you can currently order food from any other booth at whatever booth you are at. (Hopefully this will continue working, last year it was hit or miss whether their system allowed it).

Just came back from the Food and Wine Fest and your opinions were all spot on. The only thing I’d recommend is if you’re going to try the chimmichuri steak, get it earlier in the day because the line gets long later. Also, if you’re prone to light appetites, get one Sip and Savor pass. My sister and I split everything and were stuffed, but still had room to try stuff in the park that wasn’t on the festival menu. Shout out to Pacific Wharf for that Peach Toast.

Great huge video (in content not in time). I was wondering about the wings. In past F&W festivals the smoked wings had soggy skin so I was curious if this years were the same. Issue with smoking I guess. You need to go back to D-Lish and get the Cubano Slider. great! Yesterday (sunday 3/5) all MK Holder shirts were gone. and finally - lets see if the portion sizes change as we move along. I feel that this is what happened with Lunar New Year.. servings got slightly smaller as the days went by. Thank you Ken Potrock for that story. Great. Oh yeah - LOVE THE WALK OF SHAME... so funny.

We explained in the beginning that you can if you want to order at one register for all of the booths instead of going to each booth individually. So we brought all our tabs to one booth and ordered. You take the receipt to pick up at each booth but don’t have to wait in double the lines
