Ordination of priests 2024

The Bishop of Portsmouth ordained six candidates as priests in our cathedral in June 2024. He laid hands on each of them and asked for God's Spirit to equip them for this new role. Each of the candidates was also anointed with oil on their head and hands to symbolise their new sacramental and preaching ministry.
