I do love the "westernized" artwork on the US version, trace over the Japanese art, but take away the big eyes and make him look like Chucky from Child's Play :D But I loved the Namco Museum games myself, they got for a fortune now on eBay, but I just loved the virtual museum part, I wish games did that nowadays.

Nice review man! I had this way back from when it was released, used to 2up with a friend and always enjoyed the co-op mode. Some of the power ups are pretty daft and as you say you can't decide when to use them. Overall a very so-so game but thanks to your review, one that I will look forward to returning to in the future.

I only got Ordyne a few months ago and have only tried it 2-3 times and haven't completed it yet (I'll be damned if I use a continue). Thanks for reminding me that I have to try and find the two Namco Museum games that I'm missing. I started buying those because I wanted to try Legend of Valkyrie (before I knew it was available on PC Engine) Also: almost enough episodes for another Turbo Views DVD : )

I remember having this game for a few weeks after trading games with a buddy from my school...yes, amazingly, I actually knew someone with the TG. Hehe. I thought it was OK, but just a little bland. Great review, as always. Now on to Power Golf. :)

Although playing as "Kana", the ending comes off a little silly in that Japanese sort of way of her feeling a little embarrassed that you saw her beat the game like that and she admits she did pretty well and then says she's off to Mr. Tomari's house for a party.

I got this in a PC-Engine HuCard bundle. Got it with R-Type II, Outrun, Space Harrier, and Bomberman 94. I will admit it would have been nice if they kept the art style from the PC-Engine games in North America as the cards just have such a great visual compared to early TurboChips. Still a fun little game to come back to without having to worry about frustration from "Bullet Hell" style games.

Nice to see a cute`em up, that doesn`t take away all your power ups when you die, i really liked Namco Museum series too, but, i`ve read in console newspapers, that people complain that there was only 5 games on almost 700 MB cd.

I have avoided this version for far too long. I have the Japanese version of Nacmo Museum on the PS1 and have enjoyed Ordyne there for a while. Looks like I need to "upgrade" to the Turbo version.

First time id played Ordyne was on nacmo museum vol4 as well spida1a.I don't know why,but i passed on it for the last TG16 i owned.Maybe because it was a cute'em up or it was for it 'reviews back then i don't know.These days though i don't think it's a bad game but it falls a little short for me.

pac-man appears as the stock bomber shot power-up. it also esentially gives the player an extra hit-if the player is hit with this power-up equipped, pac-man will dettenate and kill the enemy.

I've got this game but I've not played more than a few minutes of it. There are just too many good shooters on the PCE that this one has always been on the backburner. It seemed a bit too slow for me (like R-Type), which is one of the reasons I've ignored it, though you've indicated that it has a speed upgrade so I may give it a shot.

Yes, get that speed-up in the FIRST Inn. Then it won't feel so sluggish. Otherwise, it's a tad bit of torture. Ha ha. Thanks for watching.
