A fun bit of trivia is that the TurboGrafix-16's prototype name was the C62 (which is the name of the development kit and the reason for the Hu-62 chip.) The C62 is a Japanese steam locomotive class. For sure one of the smartest things you can do when getting into this system is to just import a PC Engine & buy the Japanese versions of these games. Most of them don't hardly have any Japanese text if any at all, and the game library over there was indeed much better. Or just get yourself a Turbo Everdrive which works on any region system and plays games from any region!

Really solid series of reviews! Though I will disagree on Parasol stars only being fun for a few minutes, I only got my copy a few months ago and I've plugged more time into it than anything else on turbo. Finding hidden items for extra continues and the puzzle solving elements in later worlds make it super addictive, and there's the whole miracle system to figure out in order to unlock the hidden worlds. It's also one of the only games Working Designs didn't do anything to localizing it, so it's just as fun on a US copy as a Japanese one!
