Ore to Shore (O2S) 28-Mile Soft Rock 08.13.2022 (Timestamped)

This is video footage from the 2022 Ore to Shore (O2S) 28-Mile Soft Rock 08.13.2022. This was my fourth year doing the O2S. I did the Soft Rock (28M) in 2018 and 2022 and I did the Hard Rock (48M) in 2019 and 2021. I had signed up to do the Hard Rock again this year but after a bathroom remodel project and a badly bruised heel put a halt to my riding at the beginning of the summer, I figured the Soft Rock was more my speed this year. O2S is proud that in the 23 years since this race has been around, they have only had rain 3 of those years. Well, this was one of them! The last race with rain was about 15 years ago. Overall, I felt good and thought things went well. Definitely, a lot of room for improvement but such a fun time!
The data from my Garmin registered: Distance (26.10 mi), Riding Time (01:57:57​), Elevation Gain (1,260 ft). It had rained the entire night before and the rain settled down about 8:30 am, with a race start time of 9:00 am. It was wet with some puddling but the nice thing was that the sand was tamped down a bit.

It did... always does! Especially tough at 42 miles in when doing the Hard Rock! It was much easier this year but coming out of the single track caught a lot of people.
