P:s can you make a review for your drum kit someday please? :D
@Nagy_drums4 жыл бұрын
@@hantrik5131 I'm sure you'll love it! And the drumset I use is a Roland TD-12. It's getting a bit dated now in terms of software, but it has a lot of nice features. I'd recommend getting an entry level Roland, Yamaha, or Alesis kit if you want to stick to electric drums. But what I'd do before even that is start with a practice pad to learn the basics. There are so many tutorials and rudiments you can learn online now, so it shouldn't be too difficult finding where to start. The TD-12 would be a bit pricey, and you can only buy them used since it's an older model. Good luck!
@hantrik51314 жыл бұрын
@@Nagy_drums Thanks for reply! I prefer electric drums because i live in flat and acoustic drums will be too noisy for my neighbors. By the way what do you think about Roland TD-1DMK?

Hi Mark 😍 ur covers are always so on point. Every beat is perfect with the original. How long do you take to learn them by ear (?)? I wanna be as good as u one day... Gotta practice hard
@Nagy_drums4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! With some practice I'm sure you can play these songs, they aren't too difficult once you break them down bit by bit. And it really depends on the type of song for recording/learning time. I typically record songs within a day for TV size songs, but for tricky songs it could be longer. For full size songs I'll usually spread learning over a few days, unless I know the song really well (this song took a day to record since I've listened to it for years). I'm decently experienced in picking out drum parts by ear though, so at first it took me much longer to record songs. Just take things at your own pace!
@jonwicktv4 жыл бұрын
@@Nagy_drums wow thank you so much for the comprehensive reply on how you learn the songs! Really appreciate it and thanks for the encouragement. Seems like I'm on the right track and just gotta keep honing my skills! Cheers man!! :))

Hey Nagy, I was wondering when did you start playing drums and what kind of training did you take in your first or second year of training back then? I have zero experience in this percussion and I'm interested in learning more about it!
@Nagy_drums4 жыл бұрын
I started in middle school with just some basic practice of how to hold the drum sticks properly and some single stroke rudiments. I don't think I touched a drum set for the first year. I did get a private teacher for a few years, but this was in the early days of youtube and it was nothing like today. You could definitely get by with all of the tutorials that are online now. What'd I would do is get a practice pad and a pair of drum sticks, and give it a shot! It doesn't need to be expensive to try out the drums. I started with the classic Remo practice pad, but it's louder than most of the others.
@YusranFachry4 жыл бұрын
@@Nagy_drums One question, which one is better for beginner: focus on rudiment training or trying to play a favourite song bit by bit?
@Nagy_drums4 жыл бұрын
@@YusranFachry I would say rudiments, but it can be kind of boring after a while. Try doing both to mix it up! Rudiments are the best way to improve early on. But practicing songs will help too. Also try using a metronome while doing rudiment practice, since you want your timing to be as good as possible
