OREGON COAST was always a Road Trip we had on our bucket list. We never thought our van was going to make it all the way to the West Coast though 😂. Driving down Highway 101 in Oregon, exploring places like Seaside, Cannon Beach, Cape Kiwanda, Thor's Well was a dream come true. I was in Oregon for a photo workshop in October of 2020 and came back with some great pics. The Oregon coastline is said to be the most beautiful coastline in the country and I agree. It's rocky, rugged with huge rock monoliths with beautiful lighthouses. Loved the video, brought back some great memories. We shot in a couple of locations you were in, Newport being one of them.

Need to hit the part south of Florence. True sand dunes (miles of them) between Florence and Coos Bay/ North Bend area. South of that uncrowded beaches and small towns all the way to the Cali border. South of Port Orford is the warm part of the coast.

Hahaha well there is one thing Ana & I have and that's energy (especially after our coffee WOOT WOOT). We were going down the coast and you can stop every 10 minutes for some of the most epic views. This is crazy to watch for a few reasons. 1. I LOVE this coast. I love living here. I've explored all of these places and made so many memories in the beautiful places Oregon is generous to provide us with. 2. During those fires, our family was in the thick of it, absolutely surrounded by fires and a lot of my community was displaced or evacuated. It's chilling to see how it effected the coast like that when so much chaos was happening here. I love this place more than anything and I appreciate you for coming here and exploring and appreciating it. Thanks for posting.

Hi Guys, were you aware that the entire Oregon coast is public property, every inch of it. No private beaches here. If you get the chance you should go back to the Oregon coast and check out the village of Oceanside in Tillamook county. You should have kept going all the way to Brookings Oregon and witness the spectacular southern coast.

This is a joke. I live on the Oregon coast and we dress warm (beanies) because it’s called the Coast not the beach here. We may have a few days where we can dress like this, but a majority of the time is cold and windy. Don’t get me wrong-I love living here but this ad is so misleading.

Finally got a chance to watch your video today. I'm an hour from Lincoln City and that was a terrible time to be there. One daughter had to evacuate and 293 homes were lost in that area. I happened upon your video. Well done! So professional. I inspire to get to your status someday. Yeah, Oregon is so beautiful. Had an opportunity to visit Lincoln City in 2019. Living in Northern California, we have to be mostly spontaneous in our travels during the Summer because of the wildfire threat. It pains me to make plans and then a fire happens. Sounds so self serving I know, but, we truly feel for all the residents affected and for the personnel fighting the fires. 2020 was a rough year for fires on the west coast. Funny when Anna said she needed to be drunk for this weather. That seems to be nearly a prerequisite to enjoy Oregon beaches to the fullest. Had my bachelor party at Cannon Beach- spent alternate half hours between swimming in the ocean then staving off hypothermia in the hot tub. Try it sometime - the west coast alternative to a Finnish sauna and rolling in the snow. Sunsets are magical. Even the many rain-soaked days are memorable.
