A miracle for more than 50 years! Amazing to think that these interviews are mostly more than 20 years old now.

John Wu had the best LSD in Eugene back in 1969 all through the 1970’s, basically Owsley Acid. My first Faire was September 1974. I was 4months old. I was also at the 1982 Dead Field Trip-Kesey Creamery show-Nancy’s New Moon. Growing up in Eugene from 1974 to 2022 has been an experience. My family came to Oregon in 1840. Yup 1840, not 1940.

Attended my first fair in 96 in utero. Been going ever since. A true family reunion every time and all I’ve ever known

Thank you for making and sharing this video! I learned so much about what our elders have done and continue to do for our beloved Fair! I have attended and volunteered since 2002, helping to build the McKenzie Map Gallery (and deck) and then working 13 years for Sanitation Crew and 2 years for Recycling crew. I now have two small children and took my 9 month old daughter this year for the day. It was so good to be home after a long uncertain hiatus! I have always had so much appreciation for all the work and quality of craft that occurs every summer, and now I understand even more what has happened historically. I love the story telling format! Everyone has their Fairy tales, so neat to hear our founders tell theirs. Well done!

1991 was my first year here. I think 2000 or 2001 was the last. Overwhelming nostalgia. Thank you.
