Oregon's offense is entirely different then Tenn. On Defense they should use their front four, like MI, to control the game, and play zone mostly behind it. Oregon by 10.

Actually. the Tennessee Vols offense was very suspect all season as well as their QB play. Because they are an SEC team their quality was over hyped and overrated. Also, their weaknesses played to OSU's super strengths. Won't be the same for Oregon. Ohio State looked magnificent vs Tennessee, but they also looked that way against Northwestern and Purdue. We'll see. My concern about Oregon is that in their last game Penn State put up 37 points against them. Oregon couldn't stop them - their running or passing attack. They found something and I'm sure the OSU coaches will be watching that tape closely vs the first time they played.

SHUT DOWN THE DEEP ROUTES! Sporadically rotate db up. Robertson's pick. GET INTO HOWARD'S HEAD! Use this pass defense, with 4 star or better players (IN no, TN yes) and SLOW DOWN OSU'S PASSING GAME. TN coaches missed this and ran PRESS COVERAGE! COSTLY/BIG MISTAKE! Analysts: a team is not broken when they lose and fixes when they win! Coaches make good and bad decisions! Period! The Rose Bowl winner will come down to the most disciplined team. Oregon has shown discipline throughout the season. Ohio State? They’ve been in the middle of a major fight after losing yet another game to their dreaded rival Michigan… Will Howard, doing the Cignetti stomp, on the sideline while his head coach looks on with laughter. Ohio State will do a lot of chirping this week. Oregon will simply “go to work.“ having Jordan Birch back is a huge addition to our defense. This is a much different Oregon team than Ohio State State played in October. If they believe that Oregon “got lucky,” they’ll lose this game handily Oregon is as talented and above that has the discipline to be the team to beat in the CFP. Don’t forget, it was only a few weeks ago where Ohio State band were screaming for Ryan Day to be fired! My, how quickly we changed up. Ryan Day is the reason Ohio State is not going to beat Oregon. Just like the Michigan game this year, Ohio State will be out coached and out disciplined. Ryan day will get his walking papers and a coach that can handle the pressure of leading a proud and story college football program will take his place. Ohio State won’t win anything big with Ryan Day as their head coach.

This sure seems like the playoffs are biased to favor the SEC. The two best teams in the country happen to be B1G teams, and they should NOT be meeting during the quarterfinals. *Why aren't two SEC teams playing each other, early in the playoffs?* Penn Srate, and especially Ohio State, did a great job of representing the the conference. Right now, Oregon, Penn State, and Ohio State are all playing at a really high level. It does appear that the Big Ten have the best conference. The SEC is not as good as the SEC folks want to believe. Quite honestly, I just don't think that Tennessee was that good. Ohio St. did look really good, but how much of that was because of who they played. If they get past my Ducks, then they will be hard for anyone to defeat, unless it would be Penn State. Three really good teams. Oh yah, Go Ducks.

@m8s4lif Ohio State is not better than Oregon. The first game shouldn't have been close because of poor officiating. Should have been a 3 TD blow out. Oregon is on another level compared with the field. They also had 8 starters out vs Ohio State. Those starters are now back and Oregon has been playing even better then they were. Tennessee isn't that good in my opinion, so the OSU win doesn't hold much weight to me. Oregon would have demolished Tennessee. The Rose Bowl will be a home game for Oregon, so we'll see. But if I were a betting man, Oregon will win.
