☞ 👀 We made it to Oregon. Sheila had some fun things planned visiting #devilspunchbowl and #thorswell. The best thing about visiting the area is the coastal views and visiting all the small towns along the way. We had a great time on the Sweet Creek Trailway and highly recommend you stop there and do the hike.

The Oregon Coast is just gorgeous. What a great hike. Will certainly check that out when we get back. What a good shot of the crawdad. We are sure with that many cameras you don't miss much. 😂 There is so much to do on the Oregon Coast. We saw the Devils Punchbowl and saw the swirling water as the tide was coming in colliding against the rocks. Can't wait to get back out there to explore it more. Thanks for the fun video. Mary💕Fred

There is something magical about the Oregon coast. We did a portion of it back in April and it was beautiful. You should take a day and go to Silver Falls SP.

I love the Oregon, Washington and Northern California coast. Have taken many motorcycle trips along the 101. As far as sightseeing timing is everything. Should have a mindset of let's see what we can see, not I want to see this particular thing just as I saw it in a picture.

Did you guys go see the elk herd east of Reedsport ? You passed by the Campground we stayed at in North Bend Or. The Mill Casino Motel and RV Park. You have got to go into the Columbia River Gorge you won’t regret it.

It’s a lot like Maine here! I was born and raised in Oregon on the coast and as an adult lived about 2 hours north of Portland Maine on the coast (coast guard station my husband was at) and they are very similar feeling.

I read once that Oregon has more type of land than any other state. Plains, lowland hills, shoreline, mountains and volcanos to name a few

It’s true - we do! We have every type all in one state, go east for the desert and mountains and snow and west for the rainforest and coastline. There aren’t many Places that can compete with the beauty of Oregon!

Todd, fair warning if you take Shriek out on the beach make sure you get the off road pass. That tickett in Oregon is not cheap. And air down his shoes. Don't get on the pavement with low air in his feet, or you will get a ticket. Also if you CCW you concealed is not good here. Oregon doesn't have reprocity with other states. However it is a shall issue state. If you are going up the Columbia Gorge you will need a parking permit to stop at Multnomah Falls. Make a stop at Hood River and watch the wind surfers. We went to the Sea Lion Cave when we drove the Oregon coast in 2019. It was interesting but you are right about the smell!😒 Oregon was so beautiful, we can't wait to go back!
