I had the privilege of going to the one in Florence a few years back. I also got to see the one in the smith river alliance last summer. Always amazing to see them

This is amazing! I'm so glad to see that they are growing wild in more places than the one tiny bog in Florence (I do love that bog though).

I know of an enormous colony of these near O'Brien, OR. I will not tell where it's at as I'm sure collectors would converge on the site. There are also many neat native plants there, including the very rare Cypripedium Californicum (California Ladyslipper orchid). I also saw many beautiful specimens of Darlingtonia while driving by Mt. Shasta in CA... they were actually growing in fields around the mountains base and in the drainage ditches along the road, some enormous... the largest Darlingtonia I have ever seen.

My favourite species of carni. plants. Its a shame they are so hard to take care for.

They aren't really hard. They are just a little tricky

Nice, I hope they patrol the area to discourage "collection"

Also do you think the florence bog plants are truly native, or possibly introduced long ago? I was always under the impression that almost all darlingtonia lived in the mountains where they get a hard winter dormancy
