hopefully, better against larger opponents with speed .. as awesome as the 2014 was, they weren't up to hanging with Ohio State that season! who had adopted Chip Kelly's tempo approach.... And we're able to not only hang with Oregon, but match them on speed and beat them with size... They certainly have the size as well as the speed now! I have to admit... I am so grateful that I have did not go after Cam Ward! A lot of people don't know what that guy's capable of! If he had those kind of weapons... An actual running game, and a good offensive line.... He could be the best quarterback in college. I'm really grateful of Miami has him, instead of Ohio State! I don't trust Mario's coaching and they've got a good roster but they don't have Ohio state's roster. Ohio State with Cam Ward.... That would be a scary team! If he was the quarterback I would be able to understand some people picking Ohio State as a preseason number one... I would be quite a bit more apprehensive and less excited about this Autzen matchup.... But they didn't pursue him! As a duck fan, I absolutely love that! 🦆🏈😎

Kyler Kasper’s dad was also a tight end in the NFL so it’s definitely a possible move. Personally I would love it, i think he fits the perfect mold of ‘todays’ tight end.

It’s a shame that you are to young to have seen the 2001 team. My brother and I had season tickets and went to the Fiesta Bowl. That was an amazing team. Their only loss was an inexplicable one to an inferior Stanford team. But, that’s another story[grinding teeth]. The Fiesta Bowl game is still up on KZbin. Probably other 2001 games as well. Camden Lewis was very accurate from the 30 and in. Further than that and he was unreliable. In the 2022 game at WSU, we had a couple of 1st half drive that we had to settle for FGs. Without them, the Ducks don’t win that game. They weren’t crucial, but, they were important.

Kasper is an awesome talent but he needs help with his route running. He missed a TD in the spring game because he stopped to look back for the ball at the 20 and Dillon put the ball on the money at the 2 yard line. Kasper had his guy beat but like a high school receiver, looked back and slowed down for the ball but if he would had kept running his route he would have walked in for a TD. The same on his second target that got a PI call out of it. That one was a bit under thrown but he stops to look back at the ball to much. He need to complete his route and would be fine.
