The life flight pilot is correct. I seen same over Portland Oregon four nights ago. The lighted objects were higher than drones fly and changed course at a very high rate of speed.

When I was 19 years old, the summer of 1976 coming down off of 164th St. on the Washington side by Camas. We came under an underpass overpass coming out the other side there was a gray saucer about 300 feet off the river tipped towards the Portland airport. We popped up onto Highway 14 it tipped towards us. You could see the cockpit on top. My brother-in-law was driving he put the pedal to the metal and we left as fast as we could. I often wondered what it was. I know it was a UFO but wanted to see what was actually flying it. It was pretty cool. I open or believe me you see one in daylight close.

There are thousands of Starlink satellites. I’ve seen them multiple times over a 20-30 minute period heading eastbound over Turkey and the Caspian Sea. The first time I saw them it was disconcerting because they were too high to be aircraft and way too fast but knowing how the Starlink constellation moves it makes sense.

A customer of mine told me about seeing the same thing about 10 years ago. He was a pilot, flew jets hauling cargo, fed ex air etc in western United States. He told me in depth about seeing these red orange orbs pacing the jet, he could see them out of the cockpit. He said they could morph into different shapes then back into an orb then disappear. At first he called into ATC to check for any aircraft in the area, they said they see nothing. It happened multiple times and he stopped reporting in fear that he would lose his job due to them thinking he was crazy or unstable

I saw a giant red orb with its light source emanating from the inside out and looking like plasma, flew over Estacada Oregon in 2007 at around 1AM right past my house, it was the size of a full moon in the sky so it seemed pretty low altitude.. So crazy I'll never forget it.

Why is no one picking up on the TCAS point? TCAS requires transponders to work (basically it’s a little radio ping). The object would have to have a transponder in it (or is mimicking it) in order for TCAS on the pilot’s aircraft to pick it up. It’s not like radar that can ‘see’ solid objects. The object is emitting a signal.

It was perfectly round, huge and green , took photos and I am still wondering what in the world it is not to mention when I was kid back in Europe I saw a flying object that was metalic and no noise and super fast, out of this world ! The pilot, Joe Buley, told Eugenes KEZI 9 news, "TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) works off of transponder code. So for something to register, it was registering like an aircraft. So the weird thing is we were seeing it as an aircraft inside the aircraft. But ATC wasn't showing it on their radar."

TCAS does not report “reflections”. It looks for other transponders. When it finds one, it exchanges location information so each pilots sees the other aircraft on their respective TCAS screen. Yes…I am a pilot.

I’ve seen 8-10 flying saucers right over my head at base of cloud level so I guess 3-4K feet? They had an orange light in the middle. They were travelling slow, but the impressive thing was that they were silent (at least at ground level where I was). No, they weren’t lanterns - I could see almost as plain as day that they were solid dish/disc shaped objects with a light in the middle even though it was night. As people always say, each one could quite comfortably land in a tennis court size-wise. My sighting was over 10 years ago in Fleet, Hampshire, UK.

2017 Snake River canyon rim there's not a human being within 15 mi of me in any direction I'm sitting on a precarious slope on the rim of the snake river canyon something touches the side of my four-wheel drive I look to the right and I pick it up with my vision in the mirror and it dances off at an instant 30 mi an hour moving away down the slope that has sagebrush and uneven terrain it's in view for about 4-5 seconds just kind of darting back and forth It's about 18 in in diameter glows orange to reddish. whatever it was touch the side of my vehicle and then it was just moving away quickly I mean it hit 30 mi an hour instantly and it's darting back and forth I'll never forget it and then it just wasn't there . I know that I am close to military training ranges outside of Kuna Idaho I've always hoped that it's something from the military I don't believe in aliens from outer space. But all these years I've wondered what that technology was and I think about it sometimes on a rather frequent basis and I'll look for I used to look for things on the internet that matched out and I've not seen anything until tonight. This was the same night in 2017 as the Las Vegas shooting in fact when I turned on my radio at that same moment I felt the movement on my vehicle and then I looked to my right .

Douglas Fittner (Researcher not sure if the spelling is correct )is full of it, objects that move in the vertical and horizontal plans at rapid speeds are not reflections, also reflections don't appear on the TCAS systems plus a number of pilots were discussing the objects and they were at different altitudes and different heading. I have been a pilot for about 45 years and with the advent of collision avoid systems I can tell you first hand that reflections can't be transposed onto the system. I guess with all these drones that are being seeing world wide they are also reflections.

I saw a HUGE drone in Colorado tonight... At first I was like is that a plane. But it was hovering very still. I was like gotta be a helicoper. But once our car passed it revealing the other side I was like... oh hell no, that's a huge drone!! It was enormous!! We turned the car around so I could go get a picture and it flew off. Like we were going 60mph it was probably going 200. It was gone. No noise this whole time!!!

wow, I think that is approximately when I saw one, I was a teenager with friends sitting on a hill. There was only one, large, very large red orb. Very high, crossed part of the sky, then off into the distance at a rate of speed you cant even imagine. We all saw, nobody really even said anything. Couldnt believe it was real. Listen brother. I lived in depoe bay. Dark skies. Was a ranger over there coming out of school. Me and my spouse watched a ball of light dance in the sky for 3 hrs. My father who was swat and homicide watched it with us. We are not kooks, we don't believe in any supernatural anything. We are not alien people lol. But we saw something moving so fast, it was def not human. If was so high, and moving insanely fast. I've always loved aviation. Grew up next to AfB. We saw something.. we still get chills when we bring it up to this day. When I say fast I mean, but directional fast. It built speed and slowed. I saw this same thing back in 1998 camping in central CA at a family reunion, as a teenager. Everyone was asleep. There were two orange red lights, over massive empty land and a canal nearby. It scared me half to death. I grabbed my young brother from the tent and ran into my parents camper terrified of whatever it was saw me. Hahaha. I was the family joke the next morning after having shared what I saw. My husband shared he say the same thing as a teen up in OR. Exactly same thing! So we believe each other completely. It was no satellite reflection. These things traveled with purpose and at top speed and made the most crazy moves. It was fascinating and terrifying at the same time..

how long did it take for us to go from horse and buggy to digital computers, airplanes, and rockets? Just 70 years. How old is our modern anatomical human body including our brain? 300,000 years old. Why do we think that our present civilization is the only one who could develop technologies in such short time frame? If there were previous human civilizations that developed enough technologically, they would not stay living here in the surface where the environment is unstable (asteroid impact, floods, weather, etc). They would move underground or under the oceans and just send out occasional probes to see what the surface dwellers are up to (us).

I have a full trust in these pilots abilities but I need to highlight that: - Transponder Dependency: TCAS only works if both aircraft are equipped with operational transponders. Aircraft without transponders, such as smaller private planes or drones, won't be detected. - A transponder is a radio or radar set that upon receiving a designated signal emits a radio signal of its own and that is used especially for the detection, identification, and location of objects and in satellites for relaying communications signals. So last you ask your self is a UFO equipped with a transponder? We will never know what they saw and flying at night will make visual confirmation practically impossible and thats why pilots fly using their instruments not their eyes. One day we will get encounters during the day and pilots (in a couple of years) would have decent camera sensors to capture these situations.

This case deserves far more attention than the NJ fiasco. Multiple trained pilots spotted these same “orbs” plus the TCAS being triggered - that’s an anti-collision measure. Yet ATC wasn’t seeing the object. Credible sources plus some equipment either detecting them or not is much more interesting.

I don't believe the experts are deliberately trying to gaslight here. Grounded scientific humans will always point towards a more reasonable explanation, even if the odds are against it. I believe these pilots because of their work history and the consistency.

Please don't insult people's intelligence with "it was a reflection". I researched to see if anyone else reported and captured this same thing. One being from another news channel in a completely different state who interviewed a resident who took video of this very thing in the sky. The other was a popular vlogger who made a special trip to New Jersey to vlog what people were claiming to see. He brought an expensive camera with a powerful zoom. He thought he was shooting the moon at first but zoomed in you could see it wasn't the moon as he panned over to the moon right after. So that's three people one from Oregon, another from Maryland and one from New Jersey with images of this thing that change directions. Your researcher Douglas needs to get outside more then.

The point about the refection wouldn't really apply to the other pilots surely who confirmed the sighting and who presumably were viewing from a different course and a different perspective. He identified 3-4 objects changing position. Whilst the orange/red orb, is quite a common UFO sighting.

I have heard this reported on HF Airband by a Transatlantic US bound flight..pilot reported.CAR identified somthing ahead and on same track ... Oceanic response was ATC aware of but have not identified the "Traffic"

This one seems a bit different, *but* the guy is right about Starlink satellites causing issues. Even experienced pilots can have difficulty identifying Starlink trains because they are brighter, closer together, and can be seen from greater distances. They can appear to be a single object making repeating movements but it's an illusion from multiple close-following Starlinks reflecting the sun and then falling into the Earth's shadow.

No, this isn't anything remotely like starlink satellites. Even when initially bunched up, starlink satellites are still moving at a steady moderate speed in a single direction. These lights were observed at various altitudes from 1000ft to 55,000ft, moving at extreme speeds, making rapid changes of direction & altitude, spiraling, and even following aircraft. The full ATC recordings, communicating with multiple observing aircraft have been posted elsewhere on YT.

I'd say it's quite different. Starlink satellites don't trigger a pilot's TCAS system. In order for it to trigger, the foreign object MUST be equipped with an interrogating transponder.
