Sadly this guy brought it on himself. That wasnt a regular traffic stop, he had federal warrants along with some other people and they were trying to arrest him and he took off. He even told the officers that theres going to be a blood bath because he has called his people and they were own their way. This guy was basically a milita leader. . He almost killed a police officer with his car and when he got out he had his up but then reached into his pocket where his gun was and thats when they shot him. I was a captain at the second largest Sheriff's Dept. in the United States. I made the decision for my FAMILY after 18 years of service to drop my career and walk away from all the bullshit. Law Enforcement today has taken such a ridiculous change in dealing with the citizens that they serve and protect. The attitude nowadays in law enforcement is to treat everyone guilty until you find out if they're innocent or not, and I'm sure a lot of cops are going to read this and say this is ridiculous and I really don't care because unless and you've been in law enforcement for quite some time you probably have no clue how it's changed. 15 years ago if I made a traffic stop for moving violation I didn't remove you and your family and your children to the side of the road so I could rampage through your vehicle with the hopes of finding this mysterious stash of drugs and cash and guns that you might have hidden in your car. I made a traffic stop I have a conversation with you if it determined that I needed to issue a citation I issued citation and off you went. If in fact I made a traffic stop a my hands were forced to make an arrest, yes then I'll look for your vehicle but I wasn't tearing through your luggage in your personal belongings, I was making an inventory of the general items so I could list them on a toe sheet doctor wrecker driver or tow driver with sign it's time he loaded your vehicle up and left with it.the purpose of it was to assure your personal belongings would be safe in your vehicle and secure when you went to the wrecker yard to recover your vehicle, if you had a suitcase in your car I listed suitcase that way the record people didn't remove that suitcase they were held liable for whatever I put on the inventory sheet so that when you recovered your vehicle they were responsible for what was on that inventory sheet and that suitcase it better be in your car. Today this generation of law enforcement oh trust me they inventory your vehicle but the difference is when you go to recover your vehicle from the wrecker yard you can rest assured your suitcases been rampaged stuff is scattered everywhere because the cops were so desperate to find a hidden gun where to find a bottle of Tylenol or for god sakes save Grace if you was out of marijuana cigarette in your car that's a capital offense. Having a background in law enforcement as myself when you take someone out of their vehicle and you goes to their belongings what does it say about you it says you're desperate to make cases. Now days on over 50% of all traffic stops they call for the K-9 unit and what does this K9 unit do he walks around your car and he indicates he stops he sits down or he barks, oh no probable cause to search his vehicle the dog is just indicated there's drugs in the your vehicle. Don't be fooled by this bullshit, these dogs are taught so well the handler can give that dog a signal to indicate even if there's nothing in your vehicle Michael Vick and signal that dog to indicate on that vehicle it happens all the time. I watch the original clip I'm the traffic stop this video is about what right did law enforcement have shooting that vehicle up with those people in the back seat, those officers are not in immediate danger of their lives they could have took cover behind their vehicles and negotiated with those people step out of the vehicles and they would have stepped out of their cars if you ask me officer shooting in a vehicle like that when there's no immediate threat what's the difference between that and just plain cold-blooded murder. This my friends is the reason I walked away from law enforcement they can claim whatever they want to claim but since 9/11 happened and all this Homeland bullshit came in the play everyone is a criminal everyone is a threat. There's no call for this type of law enforcement I don't even think it's legal I know it's not ethical and I asked you what with those officers and troopers accomplished by killing those occupants in the back seat nothing I plead to you it would have been murder cold blooded murder and the troubling part about it is it would have been justified you would be dead they would be right and they would be off to harass or kill someone else. I almost assure you at least 75% of all vehicles that stopped by these counties cities and state officers on a traffic stop are first going to ask you do you have any illegal things in that vehicle that shouldn't be there second do you consent for me to look for your vehicle do you have a problem if I look in your vehicle, you damn right I have a problem there's nothing in my vehicle illegal and you don't have no damn business in my vehicle, and if you bring the damn canine out and he jumps on my vehicle and he scratches my paint and in the end resolve you find nothing in my vehicle illegal and you say okay you can go well guess what you're going to have a freaking problem because you're going to pay for the damages to my vehicle. I get so damn mad watching live PD, every week on every traffic stop they asked consent search the vehicle and every time they open the club box they open the consoles they pull your items out with no regard and they stuff them back in there with no regard or respect this is not right folks. They take these cops today they dress him up in combat tactical uniforms and the only purpose for that is intimidation.that should be for the tactical officers that have to actually go in and then handle tactical situation so just what now that's justifiable. These officers have got to be held accountable and things have got to change because we're not the enemy and they're not the damn military. I can remember in the day on an average traffic stop if the radio traffic wasn't so busy and I could get my information back in a promptly manner in deven I issued you a citation, I could have you on your way in 15 to 20 minutes. I have many friends in law enforcement and I'm not bashing law enforcement officers because there's a lot of good cops out there and a lot of good cops think the same thing I'm saying however there's a lot more cops out there that has been taught different, and you are not actually safe as you once would have been. My advice to you is cooperating within reason never hesitate to call the supervisor to the sing and if you have a camera phone turn it on the miniature stopped and if that officer tells you turn that camera on in a nice way you tell him to go to hell, it is certainly within your rights to record all parts of any confrontation when you're confronted by a cop.if the cop tells you to stop recording in to put your phone or your camera down I would be damned suspicious of the situation because if he's doing things by the law and by the book he shouldn't have no concerns of what you record. Observed in the main video of this situation the man stepped out of his vehicle his hands were clear but they gunned him down because he wouldn't drop down to his knees, what I have to say about this situation if so cops are that afraid they're in the wrong profession. I don't care where the district attorney Klein investigator Frost cuties officers but it's pretty damn clear that murdered the man if they attempted to murder the occupants in the back seat. When I watch videos like this I know I made the right decision to getting out of law enforcement, I damn sure wouldn't want to be a part of this type of activity this is nothing but criminal behavior. I know before I put this up and post it they're going to be people that say all you're so wrong you're just you could you just take cops well guess what I'm not interested in your opinion I'm sure I'm like many others that share this opinion it was very clear what happened in this situation, shame on you cowardly cops just remember karma is a bitch. That wasnt a regular traffic stop, he had federal warrants along with some other people and they were trying to arrest him and he took off. It’s late, but I’ll try to ask questions here anyway. Pivotal apparently was the FBI shot just before LaVoy Finicum got out of the car. Now that the FBI HRT guy/s was/are being prosecuted for lying about taking the shots, you gotta ask yourself WHY he or they lied. Imagine what Finicum thought as he was trying to get out of the car and had been fired at; get away from the car so no one in the car would be shot. He was being shot at in spite of conforming ..... Or, they were being shot at so he better get out of the car to protect others. Seems the FBI guy who shot was not interested in taking “the leaders in,” but more interested in making sure LaVoy Finicum (and whatever other leaders they could justify shooting) were “silenced.” Seems the local police and sheriff were set up and left holding the bag for bad actors of the O Admin’s FBI. Can you blame them for fearing the police were out of control believing the canisters/whatever shot at the car were bullets? Seems any thing shot at a car is going to sound like bullets. Who all was involved in the stop? Were they all set up to travel that road on the basis of the meeting innocently nonetheless with/without the Sheriff’s knowledge? Was the Sheriff set up by the FBI/agent(s) who shot at LaVoy Finicum and was it all part of a land grab and if so, who all were involved? Who was ultimately behind driving the NV ranchers and, after they held out, the Bundys off of their ranch? A recent update is one of the FBI agents was found guilty for lying about having shot at Finicum. Begs the questions: did the FBI agent act for nefarious reasons? Was there orders from on high/the Obama Admin having to do with setting up the Hammonds for the arrest for the ultimate goal of assisting others to take ranches or Hammond land? I realize some of my questions might be misguided, but I have not kept up with developments. Until later in the press conference I was starting to think LaVoy was at fault, but the two lied about shots do provide LaVoy Finicum acted appropriately if not heroically by getting out of the car to stop the shots from hitting those left in the car. In view of the lies about the FBI shots fired as LaVoy Finicum was getting out of the car he was correct to conclude someone was acting and would act outside the law against them. Left also is the question if the road block was set up there because it did not have cell phone service. RIP brave LaVoy Finicum and condolences to the family.

The fact that shots were fired before the truck was forced to leave exit under fire. 3 shots when there was no cause to use deadly force at that point.
