I used to work for the Oregon Zoo. I'm so glad they upgraded the primate's habitat. It was the only exhibit in the zoo that obviously needed it. 💞

Seeing the chimpanzee party in their new habitat is so amazing! :D The four of them are responding quite well to the facility; it’s going to be an excellent new habitat for them once it’s completed. I hope to visit soon and see Primate Forest for myself. :3

Did Chimpanzees in captivity occasionaly being fed with meat tidbit? Because, in some nature documentaries...They have been known to hunt Colobus Monkey.

Most of the time in captivity, they have a (raw) vegan diet, maybe an egg now and then. Each place is different, but that's what most places do. They get protein from primate chow biscuits
