Orei HDMI Splitter - Connecting Church Live Streaming TV & Projector

Good morning Monte! I really appreciate you taking the time in addressing the unique challenges a small congregation faces. We are a congregation with average weekly attendance at 85 (excluding COVID related numbers). Funding for tech related items is generally from gifts, and specific to a project. We just did (5 years ago) a major upgrade to audio replacing every cable and component from a 20+ year old system. We had started a lightning upgrade right before COVID took hold, when we switched focus to our video and live streaming. Previously, all we had was a front of house and back of house screens coming off the exact same Kramer model you showed... we had just ordered an oREI splitter for the Easyworship display going to house video, fellowship hall simulcast, and live stream. It will come in this week. After watching your video, I am excited to finally replace the Kramer model. We have several adapters in place just to keep it compatible... I definitely understand Anthony. My church congregation is about 40-50 so using gifts and holding on to out of date equipment is always a challenge. The next step for us is lighting ... not sure how we'll do that yet. LOL

The splitter only split video … the Orei Matrix switcher splits audio and video. amzn.to/3qeaX6T

Switcher vs a splitter is different. Did I hear correctly, brother?

Correct. A splitter will split a feed. (Think divide) A switcher will switch between various input feeds. Example would be having 4 cameras and you want to switch between the cameras being displayed.

Hello, I bought an HDMI splinter to supply video to TV and projector but the TV came out very small pls what can I do

I’d recommend double checking the capability of the splitter and/or trying another splitter.

Hi thanks for the video it's good content 👍🏾 at our church we just moved to slightly bigger building and we want to place the projector at a good distance from the screen... Please What cable can we use to connect the computer which is 100ft behind in the sound room?

SDI cables are the best for long distances.

I'm running a 150 foot HDMI cable to my projectors bc we have a huge sanctuary. I bought the same splitter device as you but it won't connect to my projectors from that far it seems. What would you reccommend?

Hello, I was wondering, the HDMI's that you connected to the splitter, were they connected to the TV? or Computer? Or both?

The splitter input is the secondary monitor connected to the computer and that feed is split to the TV and projector.

Hi what all will I need to show lyrics and scriptures in the screen? We are using a laptop

Not sure your setup but there are a lot of variables. You’ll need a lyric software like song show plus or pro presenter and you’ll need to use NDI to bring it into your live streaming software or use dual screens to capture the lyrics.

Again depends on your setup. You can capture part of a screen or display.
