Well my mom still wishes sometimes that she could buy and eat old Elmer's Paste (she has Pika, which is a disorder that makes you want to eat inappropriate objects; for example, she's also an ice chewer because normally she would want to eat rocks, but ice is a safer substitute.) I'm a 2002 kid, so I wasn't around when this discontinued paste was made, but apparently Elmer's used to make a paste/glue that had all the benefits of today's kids' glue, but also one unintentional bonus in the form of peppermint oil and other small ingredients added to make the glue less noxious but instead made kids want to eat the paste because it smelled delicious (that's apparently where all the "kids dumb enough to eat glue" jokes came from. It's not really that the kids were dumb, it's the fact the glue was unintentionally made to smell and taste delicious and if a kid decided to try it, from Pika or other reasons, of course they would continue to eat it because it tastes good.) So my mom still wants to buy some of the old version of paste so she can eat it, but I doubt there's much of it left. Anyway, my point of bringing this up is if people like my mom ate Elmer's Paste back in the day, I would consider that 500 times better than eating 21st finger boogers.

Things in this video that I personally can’t get over: 1.
