Here's some thoughts of mine. 1. Remus is the name of one of the twin brothers in Roman mythology who founded ancient Rome. In the myth, Romulus, the other brother, and Remus had a competition to see who the new city would be named after. Romulus won and named it Rome. That's the connection between the names Remus and Roman. Perhaps, Roman and Remus fought over witch one would become a light side and who would be stuck as a dark side? I don't know, I'm a mythology nerd and just thought that was interesting. 2. This isn't the first time everyone got really uncomfortable when Virgil was called/almost called paranoid. Even though just about everyone knew it, it's finally been confirmed that he was a dark side. Not to say that anxiety is necessarily a good thing, but Virgil is just trying to protect Thomas and keep alert. There is, however, something that has all the negative parts of anxiety, but not the helpful parts. What if, as a dark side, Virgil was paranoia?

well, it depends on the myth. see, i read a version where the brothers try and decide where to build rome and they decide on the river where the she-wolf took care of them. remus was watching romulus build and saying how he'd storm the town once it was finished and take it for himself. romulus got angry and murdered remus on the spot causing rome to be a safe place for criminals since romulus himself was one

You are adorable, honestly you're one of my favorite channels that react to Thomas's videos. I'm glad this video was able to do that for you. And I agree, Remus is great, but he needs to be controlled. Personally, my belief that none of the "Dark Sides" are truly "evil" they're just out of control because character Thomas won't accept those aspects of himself. So they've become like Scooby Do villains because it's easier for Thomas to think of them like that than acknowledge that he-like everyone-is made up of dark and light, and needs both to be a well-rounded, stable individual. In fact, I think part of Deceit's agenda is he's tired of the unfair status quo, so is trying to show Thomas that he and the other Dark Sides aren't evil and ARE, in fact, a part of Thomas, and could be helpful if Thomas allowed himself to accept and embrace those Sides instead of repressing them and pretending like they don't exist. Also, if Remus was more controlled, I could see him shifting to dark humor-which could be fun.

The deodorant is marshmallow fondant, which is still a pain to eat because pure fondant is pure sugar and it will make you feel sick/ hurt your teeth. If you make your own deodorant fondant then keep that in mind.

I normally don't watch many reactions videos but this one pulled me in! I was so pulled into this particular SS episode with the slump I've been in an when I watched it I was geeking out so much and I was excited and hyper and my brain was going crazy with ideas about the dark sides and Virgil and basically I was that meme of the guy in front of the board with the pins and strings. I loved seeing how you reacted to Remus appearing and the song and you did the same thing I did with checking my audio when it dulls out and I swear I was going to cry when they officially revealed who Virgil was. I’ve had to deal with intrusive thoughts a lot in the past, and I find what works for me is to allow the buildup and then subvert it. For example, it’s building up to me opening fire on my college mates and then it turns out to be water pistols, or the knife is just for peeling potatoes, or the axe for chopping wood. Yes there were many moods in this video and omg the editing was brilliant. Now couple of things 1) since his name is Remus, what do we call sleep? The fandom has been calling sleep Remy. 2) Why do I get a Copy Catter Hatter Vibe from Remus's voice. If you don't know who that is look up the name on KZbin and play the Adventures in Wonderland episode. 3) How many people are now gonna cosplay as Remus as Dark Woody? rofl 4) You weren't the only one who cried at the hun. A small interesting tid bit about Remus' name. Remus and Romulus where to mythological figures, children raised by a pack of wolves, who went on to supposedly co-found the city of Rome. So that is an interesting reference given that Princey's name is Roman. I have read and agree with the theory that Virge used to be Paranoia because that moment between Logan and Virgil when he almost calls him paranoid gives away so much. I love the moment where Duke is like "I know who can help us with that" cue deceit's theme and Thomas is all "ONE OF YOU IS ENOUGH!" That made me laugh. Also when Duke says that thing about Sniffing your dogs but and Thomas is just "Shut up..." That makes me laugh every time XD. Roman seems to get his penchant for name calling from Remus, which is why he; First off calls Logan the same name that Remus used earlier (Nerdy Wolverine) and Second, quickly backtracks and apologizes, as he said Remus is a bad funhouse mirror for him and shows him everything he doesn't want to be. I 100% loved Logan this episode. I wanted to give Virgil all of the hugs in the world. Great episode, and as usual super relatable and pertinent to my life at this current stage XD how the heck does Thomas do that? P.S. I notice that "I don't like him." Is the same thing that Roman used to say whenever Virgil would leave an episode before they all accepted him.

My personal favourite coping techniques with intrusive thoughts is to either shake my head like a etch a sketch and move on or be sarcastic/sassy with the thought. Example: "What if you killed them? It'd be so easy to just *push* And they're gone" "yeah sure let me do that or I could /not/" Just my personal preference but seeing Thomas personify his sides and thoughts is actually a really helpful method with the being sarcastic mechanism. It really helps Logic take the reins like he did in the video, of course with personal twists.
