Yamaha Genos 2 vs Korg Pa5x

well finally a Demo that really shows the STYLES not just sound of both Keyboards ..it was a really impressive demo .. really got to hear what they both sound like ..great job ...i cant afford either one so i dont have to choose lol

I have both these two plus a few more (including the Ketron Event). I think the Pa5x sounds the most realistic & professional. When I changed my Genos to a Genos2 I didn't feel the jump was that big but from Korg Pa4x to Pa5x was massive. The new styles that Korg has released in the last two OS upgrades have been nothing short of astonishing.

Ketron Event e foarte bun si el nu neaga nimeni, accente puse pe partea de percutie, tobe, samplere live, insa pe partea de editare este spre zero, iar materiale sau useri cu care sa schimbi experienta, materiale, tonuri, style... la fel ca si editarea..! Degeaba suna cateva style ca o formatie live, prin loop-uri daca in rest suna ca oricare Audya sau XD!

nema lošije bolje. sve je stvar ukusa i tko šta želi za svoje uho, oba imstrumenta su svaki na svoj način imamju pro i kontra, a i moraju se razlikovat , kad bi se a može se uzet dobro iz yamahe ,ketrona i korga stavilo u 1 to bi bio vrh, 🎉 hvala na videu i nesebično uloženom slobodnom vremenu🎉

Genos 2 ! Live orchestra! More realistic and better performance

Just changed my Genos to a Genos-2. I must admit, whilst listening to this comparison the Korg does seem to have a better stereo split. The Genos-2 sounds appear more mono if any complaint. Having said this, both are fantastic arrangers! Obviously the Genos-2 is more expensive, however the Genos beats the Korg hands down on “easy of use”, the Korg being a nightmare to work around.

You definitely are just a player and not a creator. I have both Genos 2 / Pa5x / a5000 and more. But Korg is the most easy of all.

I liked Pa5x more. Drums and styles are mostly better

I have both Genos 2 and KORG PA5X. Fantastic keyboards. I find the KORG has better realistic piano and slightly better strings. Different great styles. Main reason for owning KORG is the advanced synth sounds. Better build quality. Semi weighted keys. Genos 2 has better brass and woodwind and also has different styles. Bonus is the registration on Genos 2. I see them as two completely different types of keyboard. 🤩 Amazing. Thanks for the comparison demo. 👍

I don’t know who else noticed this problem with PA 5X it has internal midi issue if you insert a sample Loop of any kind of drum bongo drum Indian Tabla loop or any other loops into drum or percussion track it won’t be in sync with other accompaniments tracks

You need to compare these two instruments in the studio, if yamaha seems to sound juicier, then when mixing vocals and the instrument, korg clearly sounds more readable, yamaha blurs the sound and korg remains transparent.

Ve studiu a na sluchátka zní Yamaha vždy lépe , Korg zní syrově , ale na velké aparatuře a živé hraní je Korg lepší 👍🎹🎼

Korgs beat yamaha in all .but one thing have yamaha better and thats its woodwind .Korg have better equalizers for complete keyboard and for style too.Effect have korg too better.And style its more realistic for all ganre.

Korg sounds more natural and clear, styles more live. I love Yamaha, but Genos arranger reminds me about old PSR styles even with new voices and it sounds like speakers are covered with cloth.

Ambele clape, imbatabile, daca iti place senzatia de live si vrei sa lucrezi sunetele tale in amanunt pe clapa fara sa ai nevoie de computer, evident Pa5, insa daca vrei sa ai niste style bine facute, aerisite, gata de cantat start/stop,,,evident. Yamaha! Cine le are pe amandoua pe stativ,, cred ca este un norocos.... se completeaza reciproc!

I have the pa5x 88keys,wounderfull machine. I like the weighted keys verymuch. Genos 2 feels not good for me. And have 76keys only. So , for me the pa5x is a nobrainer

Well, the Korg sound can be very immersive, but it rarely makes you smile. Yamaha sometimes can achieve that. Until recently, I owned both a Nautilus 88 and a Montage 8. I sold the Nautilus.
