I recognize the church of Saint-Eustache in Paris and the Suite gothique de Boellman ...

Love the big 32' Contra bombard entry at 5:36! It's a magnificent instrument :-)

I personally like this version best, registers being chosen to my taste, Priere a notre Dame like a choir of angels singing, beautiful and heavenly.

That third movement of the work is a wonderful piece to play during the signing of the registry at a wedding. I played it during many such wedding ceremonies back in the late-1970s.
Leon Boellmann -- Suite Gothique, Op. 25 -- movements 3,4 (Priere a Notre-Dame, Toccata)

I didn’t know that! Thank you!

What I love is that this serene piece can be heard clearly and enjoyed in that massive space. It seems that at Notre Dame they can only play the loud pieces, perhaps because of the crowds and ambient noise?

As bad as I hate those particular pieces, on an organ and in a room they were written for, they sound mighty impressive!

Yes, and the organist is Thomas Ospital.

@@jonnypiotr2570 One knows one's getting old when Titulaires barely look like adults! Ospital is brilliant though.
