??? I didn't know you were working on an organ! They are a favorite for me to watch and learn about, and the bellows are called the air chest in America. I always wanted to build a portable street organ to play in our little town on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon on main street for the tourists visiting the antique shops!

Trent, the only musical instrument that I play with bellows is my 20-button C/G Anglo concertina. 😊 ♫

Do all pipe organs have a string or spring attached to the bellow? if there are non, and there is no heavy weights on the Bellow, will it give issues ? Reason being is that when i strike a chord and in a few secs it goes softer or dim ! First chord is loud, rich and firm, in a few seconds it looses key slightly and goes softer. Please advise.

How did the pipe organ work back before electricity? Was it some bloke on a pushy connected to a blower?

So is the plan to have organ concerts on your local block, or does the finished contraption have a destination?

It's being rebuilt at home, but there won't be much room for recitals
