One thing that really helped me with boiling point after watching this is that, you need to realize what boiling is. What happens to molecules when they become a gas? They spread apart, and to do that you need to disrupt the intermolecular bonds. That's why: longer carbon chains (hydrophobicity), and ↑ polarity, h-bonds, and size (LDF) = ↑ bp. More energy req.
