Good lord, I have been using Sketchup to make houses for almost 10 years. Just as a hobby. Some of the simple stuff you are doing, I never even knew was possible.

That's pretty cool. Being a woodworker who enjoys classic stuff, I doubt I'll use this a lot. But it's always nice to have the knowledge. Thanks!

Your vides are so helpful... thanks you so much for putting them up. I am still learning and often find all the solutions I need in your videos One question - How do I hide/unhide all the tags at one go (rather than doing it individually), my project now has more than 120 tags and more are getting added, could you recommend any best practice on adding, managing tags please!

Nice tutorial! I have a 50 gallon drum, standing upright and I am putting a pipe into the side of it, horizontally, off-center, and I want to cut the hole for the pipe precisely (in real life)... So, once I extrude the pipe cut out of the drum, how do I print a flat representation of the hole created for the pipe, that, when printed, will look a bit like a teardrop shape, which I can then place as a template on my actual 50 gallon drum for cutting the hole?

hello! do i group the rectangle with the lines? or is that a separate grouping? I tried to make the rectangle a group but it doesn't have the option to do so. when I grouped it with the lines and tried to do the flowify, it said error.

FYI - sketchucation site is inaccessible; Cannot contact site admin: 'Could not instantiate mail function' error. Password reset not working, perpetual "user name already in use' message regardless of newly generated random passwords.

What if I want to make a weird shape and add windows to that weird shape? Would it still work?
@lucasharvey9185 Жыл бұрын
Hi there, I'm following all your steps step by step, I've looked at everything that could go wrong but it still isn't working for me. A grid appears but my wooden slats disappear so when I place new slats on top and do absolutely everything on screen there is still no result. Any ideas?

I have a question! When I try to impose grid, nothing happens and when I run flowify, it says Input Error: Not enough input. I'm confused because I have redone the shape from scratch multiple times, and no dice. I was wondering if you had any input?
@Thesketchupessentials3 жыл бұрын
Your grouping and/or selection is wrong
@juliet80763 жыл бұрын
I have followed the instructions, redone everything, checked my groupings, but it's still saying error. I don't know what's wrong with it.

It just says "error"?

How do you divide the element to 10 like that? :(
@hasankothari34643 жыл бұрын
Once we copy an element using the move tool and Ctrl, there are 2 things we can do 1. Type x4 and this will create 4 more copies of the element you've copied at the same distance interval 2. Type /4 and this will evenly divide the space between your original element and copied element, having equal distances between each
