I love Gaia Green multipurpose. I have a very short somewhat cool growing season and my tomatoes and peppers are amazing with it and compost amendment. Still looking for a good liquid feed for seedlings as it does not dissolve into water.

some organic fertilizers and soil amendments can be as energy intensive as synthetic, and only provide a much smaller amount of specific nutrient. people use seaweed as if it was fertilizer. careful using too much manures, as they are high in salt.

Plants do not consume either organic fertilizers or synthetic ones. They use the water-soluble mineral salts contained in them. However, if the exact amount of their application to the soil is known for synthetic fertilizers, then there is no such level for organic fertilizers. Therefore, organic fertilizers are more dangerous for the ecology of the soil.
