beautiful car and finally a beautiful German station wagon with volume. the trunk capacity is so good! when I compared in real life with a BMW touring g21 or an A4 before b9.5 it's almost 200 liters more trunk space for the Passat. the interior is nice, good job 👍 it's a shame the large screen placed on the dashboard, the impression that it's not finished, a fully integrated screen would have been great

Согласен с Вами. По крайней мере в отношении экстерьера (меня бесит, когда интерьер автомобиля, символа дизель-эпохи, строится вокруг пошлейших жк-панелей). Одно замечание. На мой взгляд, гораздо правильнее говорить о японщине, непонятные формы - вот уж это точно про них. Не машины, а какие-то пикачу. И напротив, китайцы стараются копировать даже сам по себе, как таковой стиль европейцев и американцев. Без фанатизма и с цинизмом. Результат - предмет дискуссии, но лично я тенденцию эту вижу донельзя отчётливо. Что же касается азиатов №2, корейцев, то здесь сложнее: они тоже сразу взяли этот курс, однако, первоначально (конец 80-х) полагались больше на конкретную, итальянскую школу. Затем, насколько я понимаю, плюнули и начали работать под Америку - как-никак основной сбыт там. Позже, с появлением собственного гонора, стали поглядывать на немцев. А вот теперь заметно опошлились, подхватив японскую болезнь: перегруженность кривизнами, приторный инфантилизм линий ради самих линий, рельефов ради рельефов, т.д. - без малейшего смысла, без вкуса, без традиций. Которые, в свою очередь, идут от функционального обоснования каждого штамповочного удара по прокатному листу, каждого выруба, каждой точки сварного прихвата, каждой отливки, каждой подачи к стапелю, каждого взятия в руки гайковёрт и т.д. Абсолютно надуманные. Абсолютно случайные. Просто так стилус по планшету у дизайнера скользнул. Как пример надуманности - вырез под радиаторную решётку у того же лексуса - это же типичная заячья губа при незаращении мягкого нёба (патология внутриутробного развития плода). Но стереотипное восприятие россиян подсказывает им полить грязью скорее китайцев, чем подумать о том, что японцы - вот кто пробил дно безвкусия.

I have been a Passat GTE Estate user since 2017. I didn't like the fact that the middle rear seat opened a window in the middle instead of reclining completely. Ski equipment may not fit this way. I hope they thought of this in the Norwegian version.

Vw offers many different engine variants 2.0 1.8 a v6 not sure which options this passat will have but the 2.0 is tried n true. As a whole i don’t recommend vw period.

Wipers control and gears change like in mercedes (localization), and umbrella like in simply clever in Skoda, I think its not good for Vw and I hate this kind of switch gears - why R is down and D on the top? But R/R-line looks good

I swear VW is keeping an artificial separation between their 2.0 TSI engines and Škoda 2.0 TSI engines by just detuning the latter to be a bit slower. It's literally the same engine turbo combo and Škoda never gets to have same or more power from factory.

508 is more cramped (closer in size to a Golf Estate), their tech is even worse than VW, the engines are questionable, gearbox is fine, but DSG is better and it will also hold less value in the second hand market.
