Just love in what direction this channel is going. I've been watching your channel years ago and then stopped because I really got into minimalism, low waste, sustainability, etc. And all those youtubers like Zoey, Tanya, you,.. All just tempted me to buy stuff I don't need just to feel that I could be as good or as worthy as you. I thought 'oh well, xy is using this. This must be the real shit'. Sad, isn't it? But well, now that I've been watching more of your videos recently I must say I'm so grateful to see what changes you're making by decluttering or buying sustainable clothes. It's just so great to see that you're actually making a huge difference because you can reach out to so many people with your videos. So honestly, thank you so much! Keep up the good work and stay true to yourself!

I have to say, I love the woman you‘re becoming! I always thought very highly of you, but I disliked all the consumerism you (knowing or not) promoted in your videos. @missiarasante6 жыл бұрын
I would look towards busy people to see how they manage stress and remain patient. It's much easier to be carefree when your day lacks meaningful consequences.
@kellyjonas6 жыл бұрын
I see where you're coming from, but I wouldn't be so quick to judge. She is busy and has worries and consequences to her work just the same as any of us. I know if I were filming my life I would choose not to post the negatives, just like anyone on social media prefers to post only the best aspects of her life. She even talks about this in some of her videos: search her channel for "bad day" and you can listen to her talk about it

of course, if that's all it was. I've seen both videos all the way through, so I know there is more to it than that. but thanks for taking the time to reply.

Hi Niomi, love your inspiring videos as always. I’ve started to learn Konmari method few months ago and it really changes my life. It not only helps me to declutter my home, but also help me to cut down lots of unnecessary shoppings. I also tend to eat higher quality food now and appreciate them. I try not watch those haul videos now as I probably don’t really need those stuff have been recommended. Anyway love how the channel goes. Keep it up and thanks for being inspired as always. :)

This inspires me to go through my clothes (a second time) and further narrow down the pieces that spark joy. I also want to refold everything in my dresser. I’ve been on a path of minimalism for a couple years now, so this method is another great reminder. Thanks so much for sharing, Niomi!

I absolutely love how your channel is maturing and the direction you're taking with it... KonMari isnt exactly minimalism, Marie Kondo has a netflix show yoou can watch and she has a lot of clients who arent minimalists at all, it's more about how your home and things harmonize with you and each other, it's such a good practice.. that even if you do have a lot of things, the method doesnt actually force you to get rid of a lot rather give it its own home in your space where it isnt hidden away and forgotten
