I don't think I've ever seen someone continue to play the violin while leaning down to adjust a synth. That was wild, and it's crazy that something this good was improvised.

the Soma Lyra-8 is the violin of synthesizers ;-)

Btw, this is not really improvisation, more like writing music from the soul. There is a fair amount of preparation in this writing style not visible on the video.

You should check out Jessica Moss if you liked this. I saw her playing some of Entanglement live and was amazed to see how she played the violin and effects/loops... sometimes with her feet at the same time!

@@snailtoe Thanks for the recommendation. I watched a video of her performing and it was weird but also really cool. Loop pedals are basically black magic.

@@SidJ8300 : I totally agree with both you and Classical Runs. My initial take was that this would work perfectly in a well done, intelligent Sci Fi space film such as Space Odyssey 2001, not the over the top Sci Fi space action films popular today. Another option might be as a counterpoint for a sophisticated psychological thriller. One can only hope that a film score director somewhere finds this video and makes good use of it. I'm beginning to wonder if Rusanda's talents have any limitations.

First part is a sensible lyric introduction, and on the second part, starting from min 4 or so, I felt you left your moldavian soul freely fly, and it turned mirific, your talent is magic on those fields! Thank you, goddess of violin!

Rusanda that reverb is dark and mysterious sounds almost like a sitar way off in the distance. Its actually quite beautiful if you imagine your in the Arabian desert Thanks you my friend I will enjoy listening to that in the bush the Roos may not appreciate it but the Dingos might.
