It’s interesting: I notice a lot of good gospel organ players play left hand bass on the upper manual, and chord & solo in the higher octaves of the lower manual. I typically operate the manuals the opposite. Bass on the lower, solo & chords on the upper. I wonder what the advantage is to doing it that way?
