This is one of the best interpretation ever heard of the BWV 684. The idea of the water flow of Jordan River, and of the descending of the Holy Spirit over Jesus Christ, is here conveyed in a truly amazing way. Sincere congratulations!

Daniel, now having had the opportunity of listening to you playing a number of JS Bach’s compositions for organ, I am immensely impressed with your interpretation and clarity of playing, which is not always easy on an organ. Hearing you play is a pure delight. Thank you, so very, very much for sharing your gift

A wonderful work. Apart from the compositional mastery, Bach's music is unmatched deep, serious and moving. Excellently executed - I enjoyed it very much. Thank you a lot for this!

Well done and expressed so beautifully as only you can do!! Your talent for Bach is unmatched in my opinion!! You have truly taken the beauty of the master composer and brought it to new life!! I truly pray that the Lord uses your talents for so many great things!! I pray you come to a deeper faith in your own life with the Lord as the music of Bach lives through your talents and gifts!! Many blessings always!!

Daniel, this is truly an outstanding recording. Initially, I was concerned about the brisk tempo, but the registration and articulation absolutely support it. The river flows, the choral tune sings out, and all voices and counterpoint can be discerned. I played this for Baptism of the Lord this past Sunday, and, unable to get it out of my head, I began combing through KZbin videos to see what other players were doing with this gorgeous work. So many of them use odd registrations or totally miss the mark in terms of tempo or clarity. This is far and away the best recording I found among many; I've been bingeing on it all morning. Bravo!

This is a very nice interpretation and manages to keep a sense of coherence in the last section that I have found lacking in some performances. I think you are using a 4ft stop on the pedal. This is often used but I am not sure if Bach indicates this. Does a 8ft work as well?

@@OrganistDanielBruun Possibly a very reed 8 and 16 IF you had the manual registration much fuller and with mixtures and whatnot - but then it would require modifications to tempo and touch thus changing entirely the interpretation. Also it would depend on the acoustic space - yours is fantastic for a good deal of acoustic spaces except very dead ones in which the tempo I imagine would have to be a little faster or again the registration changed. Whatever the case wonderful performance and excellent registration choices - one I would not think of since I love that bass line and how its counterpoint supports and at other times adds friction to the counterpoint in the hands.
