Strategic examples of what might start/drive a restructuring = world/regional/country conditions = review for extra cost efficiencies and productivity = starting poor, move to medium, restructure before push to international medium, review-restructure for big, review-restructure-resize split to many-efficiencies, ... some people think restructuring carries a negative connotation like retreat in a war... quite necessary for retreat for regroup and review before next strike

Thanks engchoon. This was a thoughtful reply. As I move through my own HR journey in delivering my channel, I've interviewed people who have emphasized the importance of having the right structure for your strategy and business model. As markets change, that will change... and restructuring becomes necessary in delivering value! I have never studied war strategy so as much as I would like to, I can't build on your analogy! :) But I bet it's there. LOL
