My spare refrigerator freezer part has the grate looking shelf. I had some thin plastic cutting mats that I placed on it to make it more of a solid surface. And it’s nice because when you clean you just take the mats out to wash :) easy. I think you did an amazing job!

Ya DT has them in a 2 pack they call them cutting mats White clear plastic.

You should switch the fridge door hinges and handles to the opposite side so the fridge opens from the cabinets to the wall.😁your apartment is coming along beautifully. 🙌🏽🙏🏽
