Okay, controversial opinion. I know that Japanese skincare sometimes have those like stickers on them, like the extension on the labels, like the ones of the Softymo bottle you have. Do you keep? Or do you tear and throw away? Or tear or keep? It always reminds me of like how Japan packages their CDs where is an obi and some people keep and some people throw.

I can relate so much to the anxiety of touching other surfaces before doing skincare. I end up re-washing my hands a lot and drying my palms out. 💀 what I usually do is use the back of my wrists to open the corners of the closet. When I open twisty caps I use my index and thumb and use the other fingers for applying skincare. Yes I am a germophobe 🦠

i appreciated the disclaimer at the beginning. it can feel so fun and exciting to buy a bunch of skincare to try out, but when i look back at how much i spent last year on skincare, i wish i had spent that money on a really nice necklace instead. i think it's good to consider the natural human desire for newness and variety and question the value of those things when compared to other things we want. after all, we have only one face and can only only use so many products before they go bad. that said, i LOVE organization and would love to organize other people's stuff, so this is up my alley haha. that top shelf is so tall that i think i would buy or make little risers to split it into 2 levels

Just a suggestion, but you can buy a label maker to put the date when you open/use a product. For the date, I personally just put the month and year, and I make enough to last me for the month, so I have the labels on hand. All I have to do is cut and stick it on the skincare product I’m using!

Tina doesn't necessarily need this given how many sheet masks she has, but for anyone reading this week also loves toners and ends up with too many: Buy the dry compressed sheet masks (you can get a big pack for just a few dollars) and then use your toners to create your own sheet masks. You can just use one toner or you can mix a few to best suit your skin needs. I've started doing this both to use my toners and to have less waste without the sheet mask packaging.

My skin care is about 1 of the box you have and that is more than enough for me. I stop buying any skin care since last November unless I run out. I find out that I only need to buy 1 new cleanser during this period of time. I got headache by just seeing all those boxes you have. Skincare youtuber is not an easy job. Tina you are doing great!

This feels like a fever dream lol. I put my medicines, extra makeup palettes, miscellaneous fragrances in my vanity cabinet. On my vanity I have three acrylic storage devices, one has a carousel for my everyday skincare, devices and liquid make up. My second one has my seasonal fragrances, powdered makeup/pencils/mascara and miscellaneous. My third one hold my hair products and tools. On the lip of sink I have my soaps and teeth hygiene products. I always wanted to get the big Ikea vanity cabinet as my main mirror because it would make my vanity less congested since under my sink is where I store old cosplay wigs, hair products and tools, nail kit. I really want a vanity desk so I can separate my makeup from my skincare.

This is the most wonderful very relatable realistic organization vid ever, I have tried those aesthetic methods but they are annoying when it comes to functionality, I as well rather have my skincare organized by category not color, color method looks and works wonderfully for clothing

You could get a small mirror and stick it to the inside of the cabinet so you don't have to open it and close it all the time ? It's unfortunate but there is a version of that cabinet that's fully mirrored on the inside of the door and the back inside of the cabinet 😍💕
