My kids used Saxon for math too. Loved their curriculum. Love having all the homeschool supplied in one place. I would go so far as to have matching bins for each child with their name on it with all their worksheets/folders/books/notebooks for the week in their so they could just pull out their bin and take it to wherever they were going to do school that day. For my son, he would usually lay outside on the trampoline and do his work LOL Love your videos very much. Working on my pantry with all my canning jars right now. Just ordered a lot of the plastic lids. So pretty!

Hello, Noemi! The way to use these graters is to move the grater and not the fruit, so keep the fruit on your left hand and move the grater on one direction. This is the way for not ending with injuries!

I love your videos. I think you may want to reconsider your micro plane rasp grater. They are great. You may have been using it wrong and that is why it hurt. You hold the lemon in your left hand and then with grater in your right hand placing the grater on top of the lemon. The back side of the grater should be up I.e., you should be looking at the U- shape part of the grater. You move the grater over the lemon. Your fingers never get near the blade. And all of the rind ends up in the U- part of the grater, never making a mess. Hope you give it a try again. Just a tip. Julie Hilberg

Really appreciate your honest reviews on things you recommended. I am very interested in getting the food bags now seeing you can also use them in the fridge! I struggle with fresh fruit going bad because it is not stored properly - I have tried many methods. So hopefully these bags will work as wonderfully as you have said they would. Love how you and your family continue to transform your house into your home! Yo go, girl! 👍💗

For Zsolt's back pain, I would suggest rubbing organic castor oil on affected area (include lower back where kidneys are located). Also, it helps minimizing animal product intake which causes acidity and uric acid (ex. Gout). Add more raw veggies (or steam instead of cooking) and fruit to diet. FYI: Cooked tomatoes are highly acidic, preferably eat raw. Keep up the good work with the smoothies and juices.

You organize so well. I have to do something like that with my freezer. I started dehydrating more things this year. We grow our own raspberries and have way too much this year. I made tones of jam and froze 7 bags so fare. I also decided to dehydrate some. So fare we have two jars full. I also dehydrate kale at the end of the season. I love to use it in spaghetti sauce, chili, soups and when ever I make mash potatoes. It just looks like parsley and the taste doesn't change. Looking forward to another one of your videos.

Thank you for such great organization ideas. I am wondering if you could push a lemon onto a meat-carving fork and use the fork to hold the lemon against a breadboard, then you could press the grater against the lemon firmly with your other hand. This would keep your skin against the sharp edges. I hope your hand heals well.
@ScandishHome3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Eileen! That's a great idea. I've got another suggestion to hold the lemon on the board and move the grater so maybe there's a few trick I should try before I get rid of it😂💗
@eileencarroll64183 жыл бұрын
@@ScandishHome If those tips don't work, you can always cut off the surface peel and slice into thin julianned strips. That might be a nice texture for drying. 🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊🍋🍊 I like to "candy" julianned lemon and orange strips for winter. Makes a nice garnish on a dessert or tea. To candy, put only enough water or lemon juice into granulated sugar to melt it over low heat. Soak the thin citrus peel strips in the warm sugar syrup but do not heat or the flavor oils will leave the peels. Take the peels out and let drain. Roll in granulated sugar while still damp. Dry on a rack in oven or dehydrator. Store in an airtight container. Do not refrigerate because that would make it sticky again. It is a good preservation method, another way to make things special and a little goes a long way. I make my own from organic lemons and organic naval oranges. I buy sliced ginger preserved in sugar at a shop. Fresh slices are soft enough to cut into strips with a kitchen scissor. I love this in tea and any kind of Thai cooking that calls for ginger. When a recipe calls for ginger, I like to use a combination of dry powder, fresh grayed and diced candied ginger. It gives 3 separate flavor experiences. The candied citrus could be used as a substitute for fresh lemongrass. Good shelf life and does not add much quantity of sugar.
