I am so glad I’m not the only one with a craft room with stuff everywhere. It’s kinda fun though when you come across something you forgot you had. I wish we were closer together because I’m sure we would be best friends. ❤
@res519
I would start with the ones I am most likely to use.

Well, to steal from "Jaws": "I think we're going to need a bigger boat". I think you're gonna need a stronger box! I used those mini crates from Walmart (97 cents), or at thrift stores for actually a little more. My friend ordered the envelopes and magnet sheets from Amazon for me. Filled up, they are as heavy as I want to lift. The fun part was making the dividers from old, sturdy hanging file folders. (Find them at thrift stores). I cut 4 dividers from each folder and used the plastic label holders that come with the folders. Categories like alphabets, animals, birds, butterflies, nested shapes, holidays, people, tags, words, etc.. To be honest, I filled up way too many crates with dies, but I have a large desk as my die-cutting station, so it works out. I still have some dies in CD cases because everything got packed away for a move before I finished organizing. Imagine I will convert those over to the new system once I get my room set up again. Really looking forward to playing again! Have fun deciding what categories to choose and what to put them in. It's a great system; I think you'll like it. 😊

I store all my stand alone dies on a magnetic sheet then put in an clear storage envelope. I put info sheet in back of envelope then label the envelope and store them alphabetically. I bought clear fridge bins and that’s what I store them in. My stamps and stamp & dies sets I store the same way.

I tried 3 or 4 ways. My first way was when the dollar tree had those 2 pks of locker magnetic sheets about 8 x 10 n they got rid of them but I put the dies on the sheets in container n laid them on top of each other.

You can put the original package in the plastic envelope.

I have a couple of rules about the dies I buy. Since I seldom make multiple copies of the same thing, dies have to be generic shapes that can fit several different themes OR something that's too intricate to be cut by hand with an Xacto knife OR something I get very cheap at a thrift store or yard sale. For rubber stamps I stick to images of individual items that can be combined in different ways. I still end up with way too many of both.

Can you share the links to where you purchased the items to store the dies? Thank you.
